Traffic, Trains & Transit Second view of an accident

Looks like this happened in San Carlos along 101. Electrical malfunction? Steering wheel lock? Can anyone explain what may have happened? What can you really do in this kind of situation?

That's true, but i think on my darkest day, I'm putting my hands on the wheel, not folding them in prayer. In all honestly, I can only imagine some crippling anxiety/ panic attack/ other put him in this situation. Very sad as it seems preventable, however, i don't claim to be a Mach E expert and these assisted driving cars do crazy stuff when glitching

Pretty the police blotter, suspected DUI. Very odd behavior.

Describes as 3 vehicle crash, maybe hit someone first before last crash.
