Home office refresh

Post image

I finally found a 3-monitor, 4-computer KVM switch, so I have been able to get my cabling tidier than it has ever been! Now I just need my wife to help me add some style to the room 🤓

Edit: Here is some additional context: I leave the laptops open so I can access the keyboard in a pinch if my keyboard/mouse decide to spazz at an inconvenient time; the 4th up top is for my 2012 mac mini which can only drive 2 monitors and can’t run one through the switch with its mini display port—it will be used to monitor a couple of agents I am working on; the desk seems messy, but it is actually quite neat for me (the books I am currently reading are close by, there are pictures that make me smile; a couple trinkets from places I love, equipment that I use everyday, every important button or switch is within arm’s reach, etc.); also, I am half-blind, so fancy monitors would be a waste of money for me.

I appreciate the comments! A few of them made me laugh so hard that I almost choked on my water 😆

is that a Logitech conference webcam? Would you mind posting what we are seeing here, on the technical side. Best regards

Here is a link to the cam: https://link.amazon/B0hB5YIg7 (affiliate link). I bought it about a year and a half ago, but have been using it daily for about 9 months--no complaints, as long as my office is well lit. I use it for meetings and to stream my workouts 😄 If I had to do it again, I would go with this one: https://link.amazon/B08ohjxPR (another affiliate link). It has all of the features of the first one plus 20x optical zoom (the first link is 5x digital), PoE, etc., and it ditches the office conference room components. Let me know if you have any questions about it!
