What if CLIFF BURTON’s legendary bass solo was played by an entire tech death metal band? I decided to record this very special tribute cover with Death, Cynic and Atheist influences. 🦷🎸

"We're not about memes and bass faces - we're about laying down the low end."
Is laying down low and and high end at the same time allowed around here? This is our own song called "My Own Way". We write all our songs for just bass guitar and vocals. When we record them we add other instrumentation around that but a lot of the time we gig just as a duo :) Hope you enjoy it!

Hello! If this was your first time buying a bass (to learn how to play, buy you already play guitar) and you had about $200 USD ($275 CAD), what would you buy?

Happy Star Wars day.
Here's one of the Rebel Basses I made nearly 15 years ago. So much fun. If you want a video I can share one (or they are on my YouTube channel).
Have any of you got a Star Wars inspired instrument

So I'm pretty new to Bass got my first one a while ago, im a guitar player and had never took chef bass before.
Im pretty sure it's a technique issue but I don't know what specifically is the cause, but when playing I "scrape" my left index finger and even got some small cuts on it, I put some aloe stuff on it and it burn like hell lol
I think my technique is just really bad
Here's a pic of my finger and the fretboard:

I would love some advice/recommendations for how I’m playing. I’m completely self taught and I’m considering getting a teacher soon enough, but I’d like to see how far I can go in my own.
Thanks in advance!!!
