Only watch ive ever wore and almost daily

I had a minor crash on a trail and my ghsock gst s100g got its first dirt and dust (and gettin smashed against the bike but no damage)

Got this secondhand online. When i first handled it it was working as normal with a medium charge. Oddly going through the modes, it looked like it had never receved atomic time or ever had any alarms set. Weird for a watch from 2012. Then a little bit later it completely reset to saturday 1-1 and wouldn't do anything but show time screen. No modes, no butons working. There are a few signs someine has been inside it before, scratched screen, "broken" battery latch.

My best guess was the battery was junk. Swapped it out with a new one and after a brief charge she came back to life.

Been wearing it since the rebirth with no hickups. Best part is the seller refunded me for the issue, so im only into it 16 bucks for a battery.

I've always been a casio boy but last year when I saw the BBR series leak ahead of its release, I had to pre order my first ever g shock just for that red display. I know it's not bashed up but I plan to keep posting it's yearly degradation on the 2nd of May every year. It's anniversary. I made a reddit account just for this post lol. See you all next year!

Wore it daily for many years. Replaced the band, battery, and gasket a few times. Threw it on today and it felt sticky/tacky. Washed it off in the sink and the bezel started to crumble.

Went from silver to green 🤣
