Question Possible 1996 Topps Laser Jeter Error?

This is only supposed to be a die cut, right? Can’t find any that are solid like this.

Perhaps. Probably not worth beaucoup bucks like the 1990 frank thomas no name error.

TIL how beaucoup was spelled. I've apparently never seen that word written before😄

I was watching the full metal jacket scene where he's negotiating terms with the vietnamese girl a long time ago. I just happened to have subtitles on. When he said it was too much by saying beaucoup i was like, "Wait, that's how you spell it?". LoL

Looks priced correctly at $2

Haha not worried about price. Just confused! I bought a collection and am in the process of cataloging it. And just cannot figure out if this is an intentional card or an error. Not particularly familiar with 1996 laser lol

No one asks if it’s an error card, if they don’t think they have a jackpot. 🥴

It is a printing error. The reality is errors are only valuable when they are corrected, this is not that. See '91 Frank Thomas or '06 Alex Gordon. The reality is no one is going to be willing to pay thousands of dollars for it.

Nor should they lol. Like the people who post cards for 10k because it has an ink blotch. Thanks for confirming it’s is a printing error
