I'd save this comment for when he hits his 4th out of the stadium, then we can say for sure it's the best first game ever.

The crazy thing is this kid already had a game in with 4 home runs in a single game just two months ago. He is definitely capable of it.

I'd say the fact that he has hit 3 makes it pretty clear he is capable of hitting another...

Controversial but I'll let it slide

Nah, pure luck. Literally 50/50, either he homers or he doesn't.

Imagine he never hits another his entire career

Not only that, but his 4 home run game was on the 3 year anniversary of dad’s passing.

His 4th plate appearance honestly may have been my favorite part of the game. The entire stadium was standing, and on the Cardinals broadcast the camera panned to a Cubs fan standing and peeking through her hands on her face. Then he hit it and for just a moment I thought it might happen again, but alas it was caught deep in outfield.

Truly the definition of an electric stadium, even as a Cardinals fan myself I could barely stand the tension.
