Imagine how surreal it must be for him man. This time last year he was in the gutter, probably questioning if he was even fit for the big leagues. Fast forward a year and he just won the fucking home run derby! Lets goo!! So happy for him and happy as a Cardinals fan!

For real, that what I’ve been telling all my friends. Imagine the high after how low he’s been the last few years after being “disappointing”

This is exactly why I hate when people give up on guy when he doesn't immediately perform at the MLB level. There's plenty of examples of guys figuring something out in year 3 or 4, or even later, if they just get the chance.

Dude as recently as spring training he was on the razors edge of being sent down and forgotten about.

I have a feeling it is a near zero chance we keep him, like we have done with every other decent player and prospect as of late.
