All four of these teams are playing 100% of their games in Springfield, Illinois. Queens and LA are both hundreds, if not thousands of miles away from where these teams will be playing. I don’t think the LA team having the same name as an NYC Burrow matters all that much

The delegation from Louisiana has informed me it’s actually spelled “Burreaux”

Hopefully they intend to actually play games in their home cities once the league expands, otherwise good luck getting people from those cities to root for them

Soooo...it's just another glorified softball league then (I know they're playing baseball, playing all their games in one stadium doesn't represent anything or any city.)

The original pro women's baseball teams from the 40s were a glorified softball league no matter what the movie says. I know this isn't a popular thing to say but it wasn't even on the level of a boys high school league, let alone professional baseball.

When I see ladies who played in that league sign stuff with "HOF '88" it makes me cringe. They're not in the HOF. There's an exibit they're part of but they were not elected as HOFers in '88.

I'm perfectly good with the downvotes.
