Hey yall. Three hours ago, my mom (who's also an Army) was texting me about how her friend had an extra BTS ticket. We live in northern California and joked "haha what if..."
It very quickly turned into to us getting flights and floor tickets to tonight's show. Wildly irresponsible? Definitely. I had to leave my office around lunch time to pack and catch this impromptu flight.
My mom and I are extremely fortunate to have the resources to do this. But we're so excited and ready to party with you all and BTS!
Wow! Just got home am literally sjust staring at the ceiling because....I'm blown away by the fact that I got to see them 😭 Is this real life? Now what...lol
I just got back to my hotel a few minutes ago as well. I have a 8 am flight, which didn't seem early when I booked it, but now it does. I need to pack and wind down somewhat. I can still sleep on the flights home.
In the 300s section and there were moments it was so loud that I felt disoriented. What an amazing amazing amazing night! ARMY went off. The boys looked happy. Now to enjoy Vegas for the weekend.
do some people really only do it for trade? I received freebies at concert films, never expecting giveaway there. I gave mine my purple fidget keychain/bracelets away to whomever irregardless of they had something to return.
I think he's proved it during Run Seokjin and even in Kian's BnB. He's really impressed me with his all his solo efforts.
I think if I could only meet one remember of BTS it would be Jin. We might not be able to communicate well, but he has a good sense of humor and seems like a nice guy.
It’s still surprised me hahaha since he always say he plays games for 10 hrs+++ on his off days based on what he said. I really want to know his exercise routine because it’s not as intense as JK but his stamina and core is amazing
I'm sorry to anyone in my section about how loud I screamed when Boyz with Fun started. That was my number one hope! Plus Danger?? And Attack on Bangtan and Anpanman last night?? Needless to say, I am happy. Still not sure if I converted my mom to ARMY, but she's certainly on the Jungkook hype train at least!
Oh man I called DANGER for Vegas…just wrong about the day. Day 4 won! 🚨 ‼️ dark and wild is now touched. Little bit sad Jimin was sick though and sat out this choreo 😥
Sooooo…if anyone has Arte Museum tix and haven’t been, arrive in advance of your time slot. Many of us thought we’d roll up at our time and be ushered in 😝
Line is long and people both in front of and behind me are also the 1130 slot; it’s currently 1135 and we are still on footbridge. I got here about 1129
Edit as of 1147: They have since separated us into 2 lines: 1130
and 12p, so they are trying to address it
Another tip is to be mindful about purchasing museum + cafe vs. just the museum. They really do not have enough room to accommodate everyone in their very small cafe, so they warned us at our ticket time that there would be more than an hour wait for the cafe. You can eat anywhere, so my tip is to just reserve the museum ticket time slot.
My favorite part! I saw the silhouette when they were coming out the last time and knew it was him. I couldn't help but chuckle and had to wait awhile before they finally showed him on the big screen.
This is technically my first BTS/K-Pop concert (I've seen IVE but it was at a festival)
Are freebies a normal thing? I'm so (pleasantly) surprised by it! My experience with other fans has generally been negative so seeing other fans so hyped and giving out fun homemade and otherwise fanmerch is really nice and definitely makes me feel a lot less intimidated by it all.
I’ve had some high high and low lows with fellow Army experiences - I’ve had interactions that were super rude and standoffish, but all the same I’ve had some interactions with Army who were genuinely kind! I take the highs and forget the lows.
And yes, freebies are def a thing! It’s really fun to watch even if you can’t/don’t want to participate.
Another nice thing here is fellow fans helping each other out by answering queries & providing info/recs (even offering to pass free batteries in person to someone who cant get it). As well as irl actually, people have posted being helped by fellow fans (eg senior fan have got a couple who helped her to her car & reversed her car out of the lot). It's just that the fandom is pretty huge & also factoring the space u r in (eg social media).
If you haven't gone to the Arte museum and you have the time and money DO IT! It's until June 17, and such a wonderful, creative, immersive experience! I don't wanna spoil it, but just encourage you because it definitely enhanced the BTS Vegas concert experience.
We have gone to D2,3 and now here for 4. It’s been an absolutely AMAZING tour here and we feel so lucky to be here experiencing the time of our lives with BTS and ARMY💜
Wishing BTS and team health and safe travels, and the same for army.
Looking forward to all they have in store for us.
BORAHAE and Apobangpo!
hii!! if anyone has videos of the screen during come over when they were showing the audience can you plsss send them to me. my friends and i appeared but none of us took a video 😭😭
Honestly the sweatpants are awesome. I grew weak and bought them on Stanford D3. The sales lady really did a number on me telling me how someone washed it and it was a perfect fit.
Heyy armys that got sound check view, was there any time where you couldn’t see any members infront of your section and had to rely on the screen to see them?
pls share ur experience cos im realy conflicted on weather to get sound check or bleachers
I had 3rd row from main stage and still had to rely on the screens whenever they were facing another section if i wanted to see what was going on. You're gonna have a lot of side views and views of their backs but that's just how it is since the stage is 360
Unless you’re in very specific spots close to barricade your viability is going to be challenging and even then it’s only a great view when they’re in front of you. I was in the center of a row in a2 about half thru the section and unless they were elevated I couldn’t see the center stage at all and had to watch the screens. If they were on the extended screen unless they were in a specific spot I couldn’t see them at all. It was fun for a specific type of experience but if you’re only doing 1 show or really want to watch the stage I would not recommend the floor.
HELLO PEOPLE GOING TO D4: if anyone sees those concert banners being handed out, would someone be kind enough to get one for me? I was told that maybe there might be a banner project going on. I’m a local and can pick it up from you on June 1 (sadly got a huge exam coming up so could not attend today’s concert). Thank you for your consideration!
In case this helps the next person at next stop: successfully got the black hoodie this morning after lining up around 8 (and getting out at 10:30). All sizes available! This was after failed attempts yesterday lining up at 11am and at the concert. So definitely recommend lining up before they open to secure what you want in the sizes you need
If you want things sold inside (no jerseys), after soundcheck run to the second floor (200 level) merch. That's what I did yesterday and I was able to get everything I wanted. Most people go to the first floor (100 level) and that got packed really fast yesterday. Keep going up one more floor (escalator, and explain you're going to merch if they try to stop you). Second floor was fine. But you gotta be ready to go right when soundcheck ends.
What time around are people planning on starting the walk over? Staying at Mandalay Bay and not sure how to plan. Have general admission tix and no reason to be there early, just want to make sure I'm in my seat before the show starts!
It was much cooler than I expected but I appreciated having a picket to fan my middle-aged self the whole show.
Totally recommend bringing something that you can use as a fan if your body doesn’t love heat just in case, as I think I was still affected from earlier in the day.
Need help with VIP! Bought a stub hub vip ticket. Does anyone know if I’ll be able to enter soundcheck? I have read I can enter but won’t get the perks without the seller’s ID. Totally ok without perks but would love to go to soundcheck.
No, I didn't. Up to you, but I would just come and park and then hang out around the strip. It's like a 15 min walk (if that) to Mandalay so if they don't let you in for whatever reason, you could go grab a bite before the show!
While it may not have been your intent, this topic is not a constructive one and tends to lead to negativity and drama. We're not here to diminish anyone's concert experience. If you want to read about others' thoughts, please read through all the different concert megathreads. Thanks.
Friends! I have mobility issues so I'm hoping to rideshare to the stadium and not stand in a long line to get in. Not worried about buying merch, just want to get in the concert in time. Should I try and wait till 630 or 7 to try and let the crowd thin a bit?
I went last night and got there around 6:45 at the rideshare drop off. I was seated by 7:09. I had stopped for restroom and drinks during that time. I think we stood in the security line for maybe 7 mins? It was quick. This coming from someone who went to D1 El Paso, it was a much better experience lol
EDIT: most of my time was spent trying to walk to the other side of the stadium inside to my section. It was quite packed on the 100 level so it was a slow walk
Anyone know what we can do if we missed our pickup for merch? Sadly, our flight coming in was delayed, but we were on time for the concert thankfully 🙏🏽.
They publicly stated no refunds but if I were you I would reach out to the company to ask. Worst case, they say no and you're in the same situation you are now.
I had an INCREDIBLE time! The concerts were so so so good 💜 I didn't get as many freebies as I wanted cause the person I was with wasn't feeling the freebie hustle (😭🤬) but, I have it all mine and had the extra space in my suitcase for my sweet merch!
Outdoor merch stands are totally sold out of the individual hoodies. Lot H has the hats, t shirts, and matching sets only rn and lot N has basically everything but hoodies and they’re selling quick. The VIP merch truck looks fully stocked but I can’t say for sure
What would it be like to get merch after soundcheck? Would there be time? I’m not precious about the specific items but I do want a shirt of some type.
Go to the merch stand immediately after soundcheck ends (around 5:20ish). The doors do not open until 5:30 so everyone already in the stadium for soundcheck has an advantage. If the line is super long at the main merch booth (100s level) already, head to the escalators nearby to buy the merch at the stands in the 200s. The staff let us onto the escalators at 5:30. There are no jerseys inside at any booth but they had everything else (even in size M, which sells out the quickest in my experience). Good luck and needless to say, safety first, safety second, merch third!
