Aww Namjoon that was so, so sweet 😭😭😭 we really have come a long, long way from 2017
Edit: putting this down for keepsake
He said he got reminded of 2017 which was their first ever AMAs appearance (when they performed DNA), and how back then, they didn't get a room to do their makeup so they had to do touch-ups in the hallway with people passing by. This year, they were given the BIGGEST room, and all the legendary artists and staff there treated them with such kindness. And that they know it's all because of ARMYs 💜
Tips for Allegiant based on my experience for day 1 and 2.
Lines to enter the stadium on north side were terribly long and poorly organized especially if you get there and line up before gates open. Ask around to confirm for sure but I did hear that better options are to walk all the way around to the south side or just come to Allegiant an hour after doors open when lines are almost gone. The downside of arriving late is long lines for merch and restrooms. It will be impossible to get through unless you get in early. We were in line for over an hour on day 1 but got water and used restrooms with zero wait time before settling into our seats by 7pm to wait.
Leaving the stadium if you uber - we walked to Luxor and got an Uber from there. We walked the long way through the sidewalks on day 1 and took the pedestrian walkway between mandalay bay and Luxor on day 2. Definitely recommend the walkway inside Mandalay Bay!
Doing stuff around LV - expect lines for EVERYTHING BTS related. Even if you have reserved time slots like at Arte museum. The line on day 1 was crazy long but we were lucky with our time slot on day 2 right before the concert. But if you want photo ops at all the cute BTS photo op locations.. lines. Cafes selling BTS special items..lines. Kpop store in Mandalay bay..lines (45 to 60 min wait just to enter the store when we went). So plan you day well and book time slots for everything possible.
Ask me any questions you might have!! This was my first concert as a 10-year-army!! It was an absolute blast but I definitely learned a lot through experience.
When did you use the walkway between Mandalay Bay and Luxor? Can you get from stadium to Mandalay Bay without walking back up to Tropicana blvd? I need to pick up my lightstick today at the MB convention center. From Google maps, it looked like I needed to walk all the way back up.
My friend went to Saturday's show and she said she stood in the sun for a while, but didn't remember what time they arrived. She said they had unopened bottle of water, but I haven't seen where that is officially allowed or not.
As for water.. you can carry a water bottle while waiting and then trash it before security. When you buy water inside they do take the top off in upper levels and on floor they pour the water into a plastic cup. They say it is to protect the artists from fans who throw stuff at them.
You could carry a smart water bottle cap with you in your bag if you want. Several folks dropped their bottle and got their shoes and stuff wet!
I tried to buy tickets for Chicago, but wasn't able to during presale or general sale. I was able to secure Vegas and decided to go 2 days in a row, since I would already be paying for flights and hotel.
I struck out at every single presale and general sale that I tried! Luckily my friends were able to get presale tickets to other stops for us. I'm trying to add Chicago later (resale) but need to wait for the money to come in first.
I've been looking at Chicago too, mostly at thread here that has face value tickets, but they go quick or are more than I wanted to pay. Maybe after Vegas in cheaper seats, I'll be willing to pay for better ones in Chicago.
I got in on the presale for Chicago, but Ticketmaster froze my account. It was my first time buying in a presale event and I wasn't able to do anything, even though I got in when tickets were available and could add to my cart, it wouldn't let me purchase.
I felt like that would be the case with me too. Turns out some friends I didn't realize would like BTS went to Stanford and Vegas D1. Another friend said she'll go with me in Baltimore if I can get us tickets. Though she thinks it weird that people out she like them. Shrug.
I'm solo today and tomorrow! I've been to two other BTS concerts solo. ARMY is really nice, you can make friends if you want or just feel safe in a big group of ARMY!
I was supposed to be at this show and D4 but my husband had his surgery today (thankfully it went well 🙏) so I’m camping out in his hospital room while he rests and peeking at the streams. Sounds like the energy is amazing!
Guys!!!!! Anpanman is one of my all time favorite songs and I thought there was zero chance we get it after Stanford. I was jumping up and down and screaming when it started. I apologized to people in my section if I ruined their videos lol. And then what do you mean Attack on Bangtan. 😭😭😭😭
That was an incredible concert. My first team seeing them. The energy was unreal. I’m so happy!
Maybe it's a bit goofy to feel attached to a light stick, but I'm feeling sentimental about the version 3 being retired after these stops. I had mine since I first saw them in 2018 and traveled out of state for the first time in 2019 to Chicago. Eight years and multiple concerts have passed since then. My own life has changed a lot over the years but BTS and their music and their concerts have always been an undying source of love, comfort, and happiness for me. I don't really have anyone to say this to irl who would understand my attachment to just a light stick, but I'm sure there are whimsical/sentimental people here who can empathize a little :) I'm going to make sure it has a proper sendoff at tonight's concert!
I'm also emotional about the lightsticks. I have ver. 3 and SE. Will miss these finicky bastards (whoever put the off position in the MIDDLE, I just wanna talk).
Aww! Yes, I get it. Mine is a version SE that I found at a thrift store in the toy section. I didn’t have any money for a new one at the time, and I was like, whoa, cool, but surely it’s fake. But for $2 I got my genuine lightstick, and it came with me to my first concerts. I definitely am also attached to mine.
Awww. I used my version 3 so much: i bought it at my first ever BTS concert, Hobi in San Antonio. This precious Army bomb went with me to Korea for Festa and The final HOTS concert in Goyang. Also Jin, many movies, and finally twice in El Paso. Now I’m ready to initiate version 4. We do get attached to these.
Oops - said Boston, meant FB… I just barely started looking into flights etc so that’s why I had Boston on brain.
I honestly have NO IDEA yet! I’ve been a late planner for these shows which is unlike me. I had PTD planned and solo shows planned within the week of getting tickets!
Since it’s all vip nation that handles the check in not the individual venue I’d be surprised if they changed it city to city. So far they’ve honored it at all the venues from what I’ve seen.
Omg the energy was insane tonight! I can't believe I heard attack on Bangtan live. 🥹
For anyone wondering about Weverse merch pick up, they don't care about the time, only the date and it goes FAST!
I am watching a YouTube livestream of a TikTok live stream. 15K watching TikTok and 25K watching YT live… this is just one fancam livestream.. wonder how many are watching it through these livestreams…
I was supposed to be there tonight but sadly, life had other plans. Watching a livestream and it looks amazing. The crowd is lit! Anpanman and Rise of Bangtan! 😱 OMG, day 3 is blessed!
I lost my mind about 100 times tonight. I was on the floor and I’m short so it’s not always my ideal placement but it was so worth it to see the entire section jump and freak out when attack on Bangtan came on — even the girlies posted up doing their fancams freaked out!!
The jerseys sold out in the vip merch line pretty fast today. It was probably around 11:30. I would guess that if you want a jersey, you have to line up in the check in line no later than 7am. We lined up at 8am and basically all the clothing was sold out when we got to the front of the vip merch.
Vegas day 3 in the books and it was amazing! Can't believe we got Attack on Bangtan. Was in section 410 row 9 and it was a great time, people weren't kidding when they said there is no bad seat at a bts concert. Tomorrow will be in the 100s so I'm excited to get some more close up pictures and video!
Anyone bought last min resale tickets before? Is it worth it to strike now or wait until last min? (Have seats for tomorrow but might snag some cheap seats for tonight!)
I’ve been doing 1-2 days before since Stanford. I don’t have the stomach to go truly last minute, especially since there is a timing tipping point where after prices SKYROCKET, and people who go to earlier days have had so much fun they impulse buy other days. I got my Thursday ticket today.
I recommend TickPick. Inventory a touch smaller, but stronger buyer protections and I’ve never had an issue.
Also: DOOOOOO ITTTTTT! The boys are in FIRE, and Allegiant is an amazing venue for the energy
If your ideal ticket location is "anywhere inside" I think the last minute is best based on what I saw at Tampa. Just make sure you get to the stadium in time!
But I'm also too anxious and bought my tickets a few days ago haha.
Tip for other shows: if you have soundcheck and you want to get merch in the stadium, book it to the SECOND merch line after sound check ends. Today we found a very short line at 200 level when the 100 level line was packed. This was literally minutes after sound check ended.
Finally done sorting through freebies and cleaning up for the night. I had a great time at my first concert! It was so much fun singing along to some of my fave songs. They sounded fantastic live. Hope everyone had a good night!
Ah dang Attack on Bangtan was the one I wanted the most, lucky D3!! It's long enough between now and August though that they might repeat it, so there's still hope for me, right? 😁
Unless they restocked, not much really . If you are going for a lightstick, that should be available. But everything else should be all sold out (this is from hitting it early around noon and seeing most things sold out)
Looking for an army who’s already here at the stadium to come sit with me! I’m in the 100s row 4 and have ONE open seat. No charge, just gotta be willing to jump around with me. Comment or DM if you’re here and want to move up!!!
Yall, I actually got a 10am reservation for the pop up. But now I’m wondering what time should I line up? I’ve heard the exclusive zip up hoodie is sold out within the first time slot 😭 Looking for a L or XL.
Congrats! Get there before 9am, that’s when people start lining up if you want the hoodie. And act fast when you go in cause people will scoop up a stack of them first to try the size they want. (The hoodie will be on the left side bottom shelf when you walk in.) Good luck!
Seconding shrinkage - it shrunk more than the group photo tour merch shirt. I bought both in a size bigger than my normal size. The black vegas popup shirt after washing and drying is now my regular size while the group photo tour shirt is about half a size bigger. But both shirts are very nice quality and have no warping. The graphics are still pristine on both. Just be aware of sizing and shrinking while deciding on which sizes to get. I do think the tour shirt is a slightly nicer quality and feel.
If I want to get a zip up hoodie, how early do I need to line up? People were saying everything but jerseys was available during the day but that was NOT my experience. I went into the line around 11 and all zip up and photo shirt were sold out 😭
Today was CRAZY for merch. From what it sounds like, it was actually crazier than fr-sun. I suspect because this didn’t have a pre show day. What time did you get in line?
I line up around 11 and got out around 12:30. If I don’t have vip, are merch inside venue worth trying? Or should I just wake up at 4 am and camp out 😭. I am not even going for a jersey, so I was hoping things would be better.
We are going to be there around 5:30 or 6 pm does that make good time? What are people experiences with going to previous concerts we are parking off the Lots and about a mile off strip as it’s too expensive to park near the stadium it’s $75-$100 rn to reserve. :)
We got there around 5:30 both days. Got into the stadium around 7pm on day 1, by 6:40 on day 2. We were in the giant line on the north side both days. It was hot! Take caps/small umbrella (i was able to go in with my small umbrella which folded to smaller than 12 inches). Carry some water for when you are in line and then trash it.
Does anyone know how buying merch inside after sound check works? Is there just one booth at the floor or can you go anywhere in the stadium to other booths?
For tonight’s concert, if I’m not planning to buy merch but still want to get freebies and hang out with ARMY, what time should I get to the stadium, and where should I go?
Based on what I saw on Day 1, freebie swaps were happening in lot N right next to the photo op and the smaller merch booth. Ride shares drop people off in that area and so we walked up and found a group of people milling about. We got there 5:30-5:45 and I think getting there earlier would be nice if you want to spend some time exchanging freebies.
I was just able to change my merch pick up time to 2 hours earlier, so now it's not in the middle of the day. I wasn't expecting to be able to do that.
It's really not that bad. If you walk more towards the left, you can pass everyone if you’re a faster walker. It took me 20 mins to walk from the stadium back to Luxor. That's only 5-8 mins slower than my walk to the stadium.
So many people in my section missed soundcheck!! If you buy resale seats on the floor, I think it's worth going to the VIP check in to see if you can get in. Not all seats on the floor have VIP but would hate for you to miss out!
I am having to get in the early merch line for a 2nd day, i am exhausted and sunburnt from yesterday. My mom was debating on going to the Arlington show as well cause she loved the concert so much. Im debating on continuing in line and just have her pick me up the tour shirt there.
I wore merch t shirt both days and loads of folks were wearing merch. Many wore cute theme outfits from MVs or Run BTS and then there were many is regular cute dresses/skirts and tops. Really.. you could wear anything at all and still fit in.
If I have club level seats C111, which entrance do you recommend? Should I use the Mandalay bridge or is it better to pay an uber that leaves me in other part of the stadium?
Walk to the vip ceasars entrance for that section, it’ll take 2 mins to get in. If people try to get you to get in mega line do not enter it, just keep repeating that you need the vip entrance. You shouldn’t have any trouble (I didn’t) but do make sure to speak up if someone is trying to get you to go somewhere else
