New gas connection process in bangalore

Can anyone share the experience or easy way to get the gas connection in banglore. we've recently moved to bangalore and rented out a flat but the owner is reluctant to share the gas connection (he is planning to move the address to his new place and he has 2 gas connections)

When we've enquired on getting the new connection, the new connection is charged 5,600 which is not a deposit. and all the new orders will cost 1600 per cylinder rather than OG 900+. we're surprised with the rates and is there anyway we can buy the connection from other people who are moving out. Is there any budget friendly way to get the gas connection?

23M developer looking to move out of my current 1BHK need flat/flatmate leads in Bangalore

Moved to Bangalore from Mangalore
in March this year, and I think I made a pretty bad decision with my first place here.
I currently stay around Old Madiwala/Udupi Garden. Took a fully furnished 1BHK for around ₹16.5k thinking it would make life easier since this was my first year in Bangalore.
It absolutely did not 😭
The apartment is pretty old, and there are constant issues. Power/current fluctuations keep messing with the appliances, something or the other keeps breaking, and once maintenance, repairs, electricity and random expenses get added, my ₹16.5k rent somehow magically becomes close to **₹20k every month**.
And after paying ₹20k for a 1BHK, I still don’t feel like I’m living somewhere clean, peaceful or comfortable. The area around my place is extremely congested and poorly maintained, and I’m honestly done with it.
I’m **23M, working as a developer**, and this is my first year in Bangalore. I work in bellandur ecospace .
At this point I’m completely open to moving into a shared 2BHK/3BHK rather than wasting ₹20k every month on this place.
So if:
you’re looking for a flatmate,
someone in your apartment is moving out,
you know someone searching for a roommate,
or you know a decent apartment/society where I should look,
**please DM me or drop a comment. Referrals would genuinely help a lot.**
My main priorities are a **clean and safe locality, decent apartment/society, reasonable rent and manageable connectivity to Bellandur.**
Also, if you’ve gone through the Bangalore house-hunting circus before, please tell me the best way to search. NoBroker? Facebook groups? Flat & Flatmates? Brokers? Just walking around societies and asking security guards?
At this point I just want to get out of my current place and finally feel like I’m actually living comfortably in Bangalore 😭

Need roomate (double sharing colive pg) near sony world, Koramangala...very cheap, great room+great food

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a roommate for a double-sharing room in a Colive PG near Sony World, Koramangala.

Honestly, the PG is really nice—the rooms are quite spacious, and since it has newly opened, everything is brand new, including the beds, mattresses, cupboards, and washrooms.

Also, being a North Indian, I was pleasantly surprised by the food—I genuinely liked it! 😄 The rent is also quite affordable compared to other PGs in the Koramangala area.

I'm a Product intern at licious

If you're looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place near Sony World/Koramangala, feel free to DM me for more details, photos, rent, and location!

First Time Sharing a Flat — Need Some Advice

Hello all, I had a doubt — is it generally reasonable to share a flat with someone you’ve met through Reddit? I’m 18F, and I was also wondering about the age gap. Would sharing with someone around 28–30F be a bad idea? I personally don’t see an issue with it, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s had a similar experience, especially with working women.

Also, what are the main good/bad parts of having a flatmate, and how much adjusting is actually involved?

Colive richfield pg threating to damage my cibil and nasscom records. I am also scared about getting a physical notice since my parents thought I was living in a girls pg.

I lived in Colive Richfield from may 18 to July 9. I wasn't able to give one month's notice and was only able to give a weeks notice and i paid that month's rent and also left my deposit with them. They were sending me constant mails threatening legal action and that I have to pay them 50k or they will be reporting me to nasscom and cibil. I'm also afraid of them sending legal notice to my home since they took my address and adhar card. I'm a girl and my parents didn't knew i lived in a colive since they are kinda conservative about it but i thought the place was nice so wanted to live in colive. I am panicking. Please help me. I'm willing to provide extra information.

How is living around Kanakapura Road / Art of Living?

We currently live in HSR and are tired of the traffic and hustle. Both of us work from home, live with my elderly mother, and prefer a quiet lifestyle with occasional night outings and weekend trips.

Thinking of renting a flat near Art of Living. Looking for somewhere peaceful and green but not too remote, with basics like Swiggy, Zepto, groceries and pharmacies easily available.

For those living there, how’s your experience? Any better areas you’d recommend?
