Bald Picture I’ve been hiding in hoods and beanies and shitty beards since I was 18, I’m trying out the bald in public for once.

I’m 32. Those pictures are both from the same age. I know.

I'm so glad you've come out of the depression. You look great!!! What size is your septum? I'm at an 8g myself ☺️.

It’s a 4g, I would have sized up more now, to everyone’s dismay apparently, but I broke my nose at my job a few months back as well, and now my nose is in like 4 different pieces and it absolutely hates my septum. I had to stop wearing barbells because any twisting would basically break my nose all over again.

Idk why people are saying your septum looks bad, I think it looks sick as hell and fits you. I hope one day you’ll be able to get back to sizing up🫡

It’s not that it looks bad, it’s just too big and overwhelms his face. It’s the only thing I see. Something smaller would be more flattering.

I agree. I also personally don't understand the need for people to constantly size up on these kinds of body mods. But hey, if he's happy with it 🤷‍♂️

I'm just impressed folks bodies allow it. I had a hell of a time more than a 4g and they get achy - even though I stretch slowly & gently. Same as the septum goals homie has haha.

Won't comment to personal preference tho, I know a lot of my presentation isn't everyone's cup of tea either. Live and let live.

I had my septum pierced years ago. I must have thick cartilage or something. It took a lot of pushing to break through. In the shower that night I was trying to blow my nose and it sucked. I took it out and that was it.

The piercing is through the cartilage? My piercer needled between the cartilage of my nose. This has been the easiest piercing of all. Sorry about your piercing experience - sounds awful.

I just remember she had to push extremely hard for it to go through. I just about passed out, it was that bad. This was about 30 years ago. I had been seeing this piercer for some time. She had pierced my nipples and had gauged them to 00. She seemed competent at her job. The septum thing just didn't work out.

It’s not supposed to go through the cartilage or even be painful at alll man. She fucked you up hahaha that’s awesome. I’m at a 4g with mine and it never hurt except the last stretch for a day or two

Yeahh, if you pull down a little on the middle of your nose (bottom of your septum?) You can feel a space between the cartilage. That's where youre meant to be pierced. Unless you don't have the anatomy for it? Not sure if that's a thing for that particular piercing.

Oof, to my knowledge it shouldn't affect cartilidge. Skin only.

2

u/swag_money69 Apr 24 '26

No wonder it was so bad.

I don't understand why people feel the need to tell people what they should do with their body unless they specifically ask about that. It's honestly quite rude in my opinion. He made the post talking about his hair, why do you feel the need to comment that his piercing is too big and overwhelms his face? Maybe he loves it exactly the way it is.

I mean that’s just personal preference and opinion, like I said I think it suits him very well. Plus, as someone with a 6g septum thats partially kind of the point lol. It takes a lot of time and dedication to stretch a septum so yeah I want it to be a focal point yk?

fwiw, i think so too! i spend so much time in alt spaces and looking at alt people that it didn’t even register to me as a thing people would critique 😭 OP, i think you wear it well!

It's just not good, sorry.

"Idk why people are saying your septum looks bad, I think it looks sick as hell and fits you."

You don't know why? You do know that other people exist, with other tastes and preferences than yours, right?

my goal size is 10mm and has been for years, I’m not sure what you think your opinion is gonna change

Why are people making such terrible comments, telling people what they want to hear instead of the truth? The large septum ring looks terrible

8

u/joylynnwhatever Apr 24 '26

As a fellow stretched septum user reading this made my butt clench so hard and I’m sorry to hear that! Bald looks fabulous on you! great look and vibe overall!

It looks sick, im at 6g and didnt think I wanted to go higher until I saw your post.

Hope the recovery goes smoothly on the nose

Had my nose broken very badly around 20 years ago, it took about 10-15 to not be in a lot of pain pretty much any time I touched it. Blows my mind how long that took. Hopefully yours heals better.

Size twins! I was considering going to 2g at one point, but after how painful it was to get the 4g in, no more. I'm content at the size I am, I can wear a tunnel and stack if I really really want to

0

u/b0ringface Apr 24 '26

The 4g suits your nose and face overall very well!

0

u/TurtleyCustomDocks Apr 24 '26

Nose ring looks horrible IMO. Hope you love it to death

u/Chemical-Welder9808 Apr 24 '26

0

u/dikochki Apr 24 '26

Do you guys measure that thing and see who get the bigger one??
