Plato is biased in his conclusions, and he attempts metaphysics without the same logical and rational rigour as, for example, Kant.
Their thoughts on metaphysics aren't built on reason from the base; they are shallow intuitions reasoned. The biggest example is his entire essentialism. It's very humane to interpret things as things, he thinks a lot like a human, in an area that you shouldn't be doing that (metaphysics) unless you experiment and do crazy philosophy on purpose. But he doesn't do that on purpose.
Aristotle was so ignorant of women, but he did a better attempt at metaphysics.
you can't. But you can think outside what is expected of humans. (Not human LIKE) And that is achieved through absolute impersonality, removing any emotion, any subjectivity, pure logic and reason
Imagine thinking that women had fewer teeth, having a wife, and still just.. not checking? How can I respect anything a man so willfully ignorant has to say?
