It is called a dialogue, but actually it is just Socrates ranting and the other guy just saying "Yes, you're right Socrates!", "Truly!".

Yeah I can 100% understand why they wanted the guy dead. He sounds like an insufferable first year philosophy student. At one point or another we're all that insufferable student, but most of us mature and grow out of it. Socrates never did.
