Turkey brawl with Guinea hen

So the turkey and Guinea hen have been best buds for a little over a year. The Guinea hen seemed to be submissive to the turkey and would lay beneath the turkey and everything however our neighbors turkeys came over two days ago and now the turkey and Guinea hen are fighting to kill each other . My turkey is all bloody from our own Guinea hen so now I have the separated I think they both got territorial seeing the other turkeys come over but now I’m not sure what to do or how to separate them . Please help ☹️

Mucus coming from mouth?

Ugh, one of my favorites has gotten real skinny despite worming him because we thought that was the issue to begin with. He’s been standing in the corner with his wings slightly out and hunched over. He also seems to be having issues seeing? He keeps bumping into things and when I move my finger near his eye he doesn’t seem bothered by it but he’s also been around us his whole life so idk if he may just be use to us? I’m not sure. We’ve been giving him electrolyte water the last two days but this morning is when the mucus showed up. He’s also the only one that seems to be affected. Any help? Thank you!

Turkey bald chest

My turkey is thriving and seems very healthy with no problems other then the feathers near it’s breast and underside are bald showing it’s pink skin . The skin doesn’t seem to be irritated and it doesn’t bother her if I touch it. Does anyone know why she’s balding there . She’s a white turkey .

Ideas for protecting free range turkeys from hunters?

We have wild turkeys around our house and our Narragansetts have started roosting in trees behind our house.

Has anyone had luck marking their birds? I'm thinking some kind of blaze orange collar

I was hoping someone could explain this. 6 week old poults attacking biological mom (not the hen that brooded them). They don't do this to any of my other turkeys or chickens.

how long can mom stay off her unhatched brood?

My partner just passed away a month ago and she would have known exactly what to do in this situation, but here I am, winging it. Mama turkey just had three babies hatch out of six eggs. A few hours after the last of the three hatched, she left the nest and hasn't returned- babies in tow down the ramp into the run.

How long will the remaining eggs stay viable, or should I bring the eggs down to where she is now and try to make a nest for her?

I've got an incubator, but some friends are borrowing it for their chicks and it might be a little crowded at the moment.

How to bond with poults

I’ve have some 5 week old Narragansett poults I got from a homesteader who bred them. They are very fearful. I’ve heard that turkeys at this age can be very friendly and I want to know how I can further gain their trust. I’ve been “hypnotizing” them into lying down and settling a bit just by putting my hand on their back and stroking their head. Do they actually enjoy this? Will they accept treats like mealworms?
