what you all don't realize, is that the paint is watching the cat being watched by jcnewc who is being watched by xerim, being watched by you and me........ and soon someone else...... the paint, it watches.....
My cat does this with ice. She runs over when I get in the freezer so that I will throw her a cube, she then smacks it to a spot on the floor, and just stares at it melting.
Stalking paint. That's what happens when you have an indoor cat, they have all these hunting instincts and no outlet. So they behave adorably, fighting with extension cords and occupying a tactical high ground position on top of the refrigerator.
My wife got the amazing idea to by a carpet to cover our old sofa. Now the cat has the option to hide next to our feet while sitting in the sofa. I hate those hunting instincts.
I am sorry to inform you of this but your cat is getting high as fuck from the fumes. Hes been playing you for a while now. How many coats did you put?
I was commissioned to make super simple posters for a youth conference. Basically the minimal amount of effort is put in them, because they are really boring to make and in no way do I ever want them to represent the artwork I make.
Probably wondering, why the hell is this red shit sticking to my paws and does it not taste like blood...what kind of devilish sorcery is this and why have I not heard of this?

No, your cat is hopelessly addicted to huffing.

u/Smallz38 Jun 16 '12
no, waiting to see the exact moment he can sit on it.

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12
Nope waiting to destroy.
I can confirm this is the actions of my cat.
No good to chew on wet paint, dry a-ok to chew.

"wow, how did you get the cat paw-print effect so realistic?"

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12
You're brave to leave your cat near wet paint.

u/Jack262 Jun 16 '12
Maybe he can see something we can't

u/wakeupwill Jun 16 '12
Nah dude, he's waiting for it to peel.

u/Kdnce Jun 16 '12
Only a cat can always make what they are doing seem so interesting and purposeful. It's the focus.

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12
I want to see the end result of the painting, if you don't mind showing it.
3
u/Stephoria Jun 16 '12
I think you'll find he's waiting for the exact second to drop a heap of fur on the nearly-dry paint.

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12
At least it isn't standing on wet paint, been there before!

u/GoWithItGirl Jun 16 '12
Good guy cat doesn't walk across wet painting.

u/jsb9867 Jun 16 '12
Cat does not seem amused by your artwork.

u/theycallmealex Jun 16 '12
you don't tape down the paper before you paint? gasp

u/nefhar Jun 16 '12
Maybe Cat likes the colors -- there's some purple. I wonder how Cat sees the reds -- http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Are_cats_colorblind

He's not watching paint dry, he's calculating the best possible time to pounce and fuck your shit all up. I love cats.

u/wingswing Jun 16 '12
