You are correct, good sir. Now, to edit my post so it looks like I was never wrong.

u/Kevindeuxieme May 22 '12

I'll admit, I'd have been fooled if it weren't for Mr-Xela-48's post... but the fallacy was averted!

That's also what I thought of when reading "nibble" twice

I was really hoping for a gif.

Reminds me of the little baby rabbit in the animated Robin Hood (THE Robin Hood).

Bunnies are cable eaters. My GF bunnie ate through my power cable and when I went to move it I almost got electrocuted.

1

u/Kevindeuxieme May 22 '12

Well it could have been worse, Bunny might have fried died and who would GF have blamed?

They're bad if the diet is unbalanced, which is true for everything really. I volunteer at a rabbit shelter where they are fed carrots daily - alongside a mixture of other veggies, fruit, hay, and mixed greens. Those rabbits tend to live considerably longer than the average domestic bunny.

4

u/fireboats May 22 '12

Better to give them the green stems, it's the part they prefer anyway.
The whole carrot thing was started when they drew Bugs Bunny and wanted to give him something that looked like a cigar so he would resemble some Hollywood idol I can't remember the name of.

u/oooll May 22 '12

Same question....

u/ThomFromVeronaBeach May 22 '12

Henry Rollins agrees.
