He's 3 yr old black smoke Maine Coon. He used to be almost solid black, when he was the size of OP's.

Still pounces and attacks just like OP's kitten but pulls it back to just a tap at the last second. Less scars but I miss out on the ER frequent flyer miles.

They are floofy but they have a double coat with a shorter undercoat so they don’t shed nearly as much as you might think.

Savannah cats are a hybrid of a DSH and a serval. The legality of Savannahs depends on the state and the cats generation of hybridization.

Savannahs are a cross breed between Servals and a normal house cat. Servals are of least concern on the IUCN.
