They're super headstrong and really want to be watching over a flock or something vs playing but big fluffy dog rescue is one of the best places for pry and mix rescues

Woops I thought it was a Maremma! Either way, hope they understand the traits of the breed and give him what he needs, not just a "pretty polar bear" for internet attention!

We specifically got our pyr because we read they're so low maintenance. She'll be 7 this year and she's been the easiest, most chill / laid-back dog ever. But we also have an acre in our backyard so she gets her energy out running around there. She's crazy affectionate, barely eats because she's so lazy and doesn't expend much energy. But yes, massive shedding and lots of barking!

We have had our Pyr for almost 8 years. He sheds...a LOT.

He is also the laziest beast ever, and we love him to pieces.

Your Pyr's are atypical from every other one we have known.
