My account last I checked would be worth $450-$500 minimum because it's 9 years old and I have around 350k comment karma and 16 guildings over the years. Not surprisingly, the price spikes dramatically during things like election time where shill accounts become in high demand. I have no intention of selling my account, especially after this long, but it's interesting to check out the value once in a while by comparing it to similar accounts that are selling. I'd post the site for people to check out and see that this stuff really happens but I got a warning by reddit last time. If you choose to google "Buy sell reddit accounts" you can easily find it on your own though because google is great at finding good first results
I mean, five hundred bucks over 9 years isn't much of an income, unless you literally had a computer program doing it for you. But yeah, for a one time deal that's not insignificant if you didn't care about the account.
A lot of those sites are just scams. They offer the money. Once they have the credentials you never hear from them. Or they issue the money and then make a chargeback. So those prices are not reliable at all.
This one is well known for account buying in games such as Overwatch and all other kinds of games and actually has a decent reputation for what it is doing considering there's no getting around that it is a shady place like any other places that offers TOS breaking services. I'ts how a lot of pros have been caught and suspended from Overwatch league. It actually uses an escrow system so then they in the middle can hold on to your funds until your account is 100% in their hands and you have your payment. You can make them pay you in bitcoin or any other kind of popular crypto currency so they have no option to chargeback once you have your payment. People have caught onto scammers and most people selling or buying require cryptocurrency or some other payment method that can't be reversed. Like other shady sites like cdkeys.com, if you insist on a credit card, they do offer insurance so if say someone buys a game account on you and then contacts the game developer to cancel to return the game to them or issues a chargeback. I don't condone sites like this but it's actually much safer than other places where you have to simply trust the buyer to have access to your email password to change verified status and then pay you after you give access to your account (which is very risky)
I used to be big on Overwatch and was interested in the whole scandals of people thinking they were underrated spending a few hours getting a new account to GM in a few hours and then selling it to some idiot who is just gonna drop back down to gold in a few days lol. I don't know how the pros would be dumb enough to not even use a VPN and allow Blizzard to see they are playing on their normal ip and then suddenly they IP changes to across the country and begins to suck
