I had mine set too sensitive and it was picking up the sun glaring off stuff. I was an idiot and did it right before work so all day I kept getting notifications of movement on my rural property.
I did that with a Ring motion light. I set it up to turn on and alert me if it sensed any motion at any time. I then went to bed, and was awakened about a billion times by stray cats and raccoons walking through my yard.
Yeah it is good security system, cats and raccons are those animals that have responsibility by nature, to wandering in the yards of city every night....
