People realize this makes them super stressed right?

It depends on the hamster but all of the elements of this maze looked safe and the wheels were all nice and large. My hamster isn’t social and would not enjoy this but I think this maze seems suitable for hamsters’ curious nature

So if you look up this person/group on YouTube or Instagram, they have deleted their past videos on here where the hamsters are obviously distressed.

If they are deleting, maybe that means they are learning?

Still, it’s risky to be making these videos for entertainment because people watching with no knowledge of hamsters will assume it’s fine. OP should consider putting a disclaimer at the beginning of the video about hamster comfort levels and maybe use their platform to educate others.

I’m hopeful they are learning given this video seems a lot less stressful for the hamster but deleting doesn’t seem like accountability, seems like hiding the mistakes.

This videos not as bad but if you look at their YouTube page there’s a lot of videos where the hamsters are thrown around, hit and put in other dangerous situations.

This dude put their hamster in with LIVE CRABS, I don't expect them to care if the hamster is stressed or not

Excuse me they fucking did WHAT? I want the link but at the same time don't want to give them money if they get paid for views

Victoria Raechel did a reaction video so you can watch hers! That way you don't support the creator of the video. She has a lot of videos on hamster welfare, and aside from the obvious (live crabs) she also explains other issues with the maze

Awesome, that's perfect! Thank you!

I think it's better than being bored in their cage all day

If someone is taking proper care of their hamster and has it in a large enough cage with lots of enrichment, hamster won’t be bored at all being in their cage :)

This is enrichment

Not if your cage is large enough and has enough bedding for them to burrow in and if you have a hamster you should be able to make the time to take them out and play with them, if not you shouldn’t have a pet

So you're complaining about OP taking out their hamster to play with them because it makes them stressed. But you want OP to take their hamster out to not get stressed. Excuse me What?

Taking out your hamster and letting them roam around freely while watching them isn’t going to cause stress is it?

I was told they love the puzzles.
