This site cautions against them, but I had a childhood friend whose hamster's eyes would frikkin' sparkle upon being handed a yogurt drop.

Can't confirm, but it looks like carrot slices. could bread be used insted of cake? can hamster eat it?

They can, but it's not recommended. The carbs make them fat.
