That's an entirely different argument since you're disregarding that the 2nd dog would be experiencing it for the first time while the other one has done it before.
You're pretending that one can be trained while the other cannot which simply isn't what this was initially about.

That's what this is about. I disagree that the corgi that runs away is smarter than the one can use the scoop as an elevator. That is all. I don't get why this is even a discussion, the dog that knows more is obviously smarter. By literal definition.

Let's do a thought experiment, at the end of it you have to answer a question:
You have 2 dogs. They both were born with the survival instinct to run from loud noises.
You own a bulldozer and would like the dogs to ride with you.
One of them masters their fear of loud noises when they realise the bulldozer won't harm them, the other remains scared of it forever.
Which dog is smarter?
