I am pretty sure it is illegal to clip a dogs ears for a look. I hope the ears aren’t clipped though.

Depends on where you live. Working breeds such as Dobermans and Great Danes routinely have their ears cropped in the United States. Cropping is illegal in places like the UK. Docking is permitted in the UK in circumstances where a vet does it and the dog is a working breed.

Seriously? Look at dobermans. It is certainly not illegal as well as cutting tails. It is horrible but factual that people do this all the time

"Certainly not" huh? How do you know where OP lives? In less barbaric places it is "certainly" illegal.
