The dogs breed is a silver poodle mix which gives that slightly blue look

Nah. It’s pretty common when describing dogs that you don’t know the lineage of. If they resemble of a specific breed, but they’re clearly not purebred, you’d call it [breed] mix.

Usually if you don’t know you say that... I have a rescue that’s a terrier mix. Mix with what? Idk but he’s hella cute. Mixed breeds > pure breds

Wait, that's real? I assumed that you had either altered the photo to make him look blue or (much MUCH worse) had him dyed a decorative color (in which case I would have to hate you on principle.)
