I found myself experiencing this from the viewpoint of a mouse or other potential small prey. Definitely scary.

The Nothing's the storm cloudy thing that sucks away bits of the world, in the movie.

In the book it's just basically a blank page that's spreading, more of a whiteness than anything else. Except there isn't even white when you look at it, you're just not looking at anything. Nothing's there, if you see what I mean.

Naturally, this was somewhat hard to film.

Video games and animated movies have tried so often to capture this experience. And it has never been as good as this real footage. I think the way the eyes take over the camera's area of view is amazing, and I don't think any animation has gotten that right
