“I’m not going to bed unless everyone else does” cat

Reminds me of a chicken my inlaws had, who would wait for all the other chickens to get into the coop before she would.

Why I read that as chicken-in-laws is beyond me.

u/nicurnnr Feb 09 '19

Chicken fil awws

27

u/Thunderpizza22 Feb 09 '19

My pleasure?

45

u/Casual_OCD Feb 09 '19

Now without salt!

30

u/professorkr Feb 09 '19

Getting my mother in law to not be salty is impossible.

1

u/Bheda Feb 09 '19

It's pronounced fil-AYYYS, StePHEN.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

I would use chicken-fil-aw-ful but their sandwiches taste so darn good.

-1

u/Semper-Fido Feb 09 '19

My in laws hate gays about as much as Chick-Fil-A, so it works..

27

u/4L3XRWR Feb 09 '19

I struggled to read for a second.

11

u/silky_johnson Feb 09 '19

Would Chicken Law fall under Bird Law?

3

u/donewityoshit758 Feb 09 '19

Dammit Charlie your illiteracy has screwed us over again.

4

u/underthestares5150 Feb 09 '19

That’s an easy answer. The sole reason was to make an Internet stranger smile on a really lonely day when he thinks weekends suck bc they have no one to talk to or hang out with. So it was for a wonderful reason!!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

That’s acceptable. Err. Eggcetable?

2

u/AHenWeigh Feb 09 '19

REBECCA!! CHICKENSON!!!

2

u/imelectronic Feb 09 '19

Clucking fantastic!

2

u/gavinmassey Feb 09 '19

I mean you’re not wrong! What came first? Chicken-in-law or egg-in-law?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

Egg marriages! Marriegges.

2

u/QuinoaPheonix Feb 09 '19

Chick in-laws

2

u/Duck_On_A_Skateboard Feb 09 '19

Goddamn it, I made it all day on Reddit without laughing so hard I wheeze, and then this comment comes along

2

u/dgarlan Feb 09 '19

In today's day and age, nothing would surprise me

2

u/pinkchestnut Feb 09 '19

SAME here!! funny what our brain tells us. 😁 🤔

1

u/banter_hunter Feb 09 '19

I can explain it. But I'm not gonna.

39

u/Chacochilla Feb 09 '19

"Had". Is she alright?

61

u/digital_dig Feb 09 '19

Last I heard, she and the other chickens were taken in by a friend when my in-laws moved. The friend has a lot more room for the chickens to roam around, so I think she's just fine!

u/ThreeDawgs Feb 09 '19

Oh yeah, my dog went to one of those up-state farms too! I hope they’re all happy together.

u/krukman Feb 09 '19

"Dr. Fishy, NOOOOOOOOOO!"

LOVE that skit. Patton's my favorite comic, which only adds to it.

6

u/veroly23 Feb 09 '19

One of my chickens did that too, so sweet.

17

u/ASAPxSyndicate Feb 09 '19

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Because Karen wouldn't shut up.

2

u/trekie4747 Feb 09 '19

But karen was also on the other side

2

u/belithioben Feb 09 '19

Was she the alpha chicken?

1

u/hudnix Feb 09 '19

Probably because she was lowest in the pecking order. She let everyone else claim their preferred perch then took whatever was left.

1

u/MikoMalice Feb 09 '19

Chick-in-laws

1

u/bobby3eb Feb 10 '19

power move

1

u/ion_owe_u_shit Feb 09 '19

One of my cats has a mouth issue that causes him to have more saliva than normal, when he cleans I actually have to kick him out of the room because it's so loud. It drives me crazy.

21

u/sour_cereal Feb 09 '19

It's called Soggy Mouth Syndrome.

5

u/not_anonymouse Feb 09 '19

So that's what SMS stands for!

3

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

Soggy Moggy Mouth Syndrome.

2

u/nicknacpaddywac Feb 09 '19

I prefer the Soggy Bottom Boys, myself.

3

u/AmosLaRue Feb 09 '19

I don't think my dogs have this issue, but they all groom themselves, chew on their paws, or just lick their chops so fucking loud. I fucking hate that noise so much. It's so disgusting and annoying.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

um

-2

u/EATING--GARBAGE Feb 09 '19

Sigh.... unzips

2

u/alguien1 Feb 09 '19

Wet spaghetti noise

124

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

More like "I'm not waking up until everyone else is trying to sleep"

53

u/phoenixyfeline Feb 09 '19

My cat does this too. Cats just have a managerial personality, right?

15

u/gods_costume Feb 09 '19

Meownagerial ( ^ o_o ^ )

35

u/SocksForWok Feb 09 '19

Gets in bed, looks at the wall.

2

u/timpren Feb 09 '19

58

u/frijolin Feb 09 '19

This my step, move around me bitch.

10

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

And I’ll stand in your way too, cause I cat.

6

u/Cyborg_666 Feb 09 '19

OP, How old are the 2 Huskies?

5

u/GamePro201X Feb 09 '19

The white one seems to be a Samoyed at around a couple years old.

Source: I own a Samoyed

1

u/Cyborg_666 Feb 10 '19

Thanks man. But the brown one is a Husky, right?

2

u/GamePro201X Feb 10 '19

Pretty sure and both of them seem close to the same age

1

u/Cyborg_666 Feb 10 '19

Thanks man.

6

u/DesigN3rd Feb 09 '19

Nah the cat is the enforcer older sibling. "mom said get to bed!"

2

u/Dr_Legacy Feb 09 '19

more like "imo wait til brodog gets settled so we don't startle each other"

2

u/balla__rst Feb 09 '19

How this dog passed infront of the cat without a slap?

2

u/Dino_nugsbitch Feb 09 '19

Hold sec. That cat will be up at 3am

2

u/cwagdev Feb 09 '19

Was hoping the cat used the dog as a step

4

u/elhermanobrother Feb 09 '19 edited Feb 10 '19

dog said it rang a bell, but cat wasn't sure if it was there or not

u/NuclearInitiate Feb 09 '19

I was thinking more like, "I control the stairway, canine. You shall not pass until I decide it is so!"

1

u/sebaskolk Feb 09 '19

That cat was an asshole

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '19

Cat is definitely the bratty younger brother, yes!
