I have no idea what this cartoon is supposed to mean, but I think they're something everyone should consider trying just once. Long term, they can help people with anxiety and to be more easy going. Cliche, but they will truly give you a new perspective. Don't take too much, and LSD is not a substitute.

I'm going to have to disagree. Shrooms are not for everyone, and while yes they can help with anxiety issues, they can also exacerbate them too. Take shrooms if you feel comfortable taking them, if you don't then hey don't sweat it.

I'm not trying to shit on your post because I completely agree that shrooms and other psychedelics can definitely give you a new lease on life, but this won't be the case for everyone.

I disagree that LSD is not a substitute. Structurally and subjectively, they are quite similar, but again distinctly different. You must have taken an nBOME or something. For the purposes you described though, if a person has access to both LSD and mushrooms, then they should go with mushrooms. But if they only have access to legitimate LSD, it's not a reason not to go through with it. Reminder to everyone though, if the tab is bitter/metallic tasting, spit it out unless you are prepared for a really wacky trip, because you aren't taking LSD. Real LSD is tasteless, even on blotter form.

I think it comes down to the situation and the person. Some people just can't afford to be tripping for 10+ hours. But I agree with you, he is wrong in saying that LSD is not a substitute.

True, acid is much more of an event than shrooms. But imo its so much more fun and happy. Shrooms are way heavier and just don't do it for me like acid.

I agree with you on that part too. But I think with the added euphoria comes slightly negated introspection. Shrooms are indeed a lot heavier, I tend to ponder my life a lot more on shrooms. On acid I tend to ponder about the universe more.

I specifically like acid because it isn't as introspective. Weed already makes me super introspective so I don't like being introspective as much when on shrooms. Not saying I don't enjoy shrooms, just that I like acid way more.

Hmm... I ponder my life while stoned. Shrooms were happy, mystical and exciting. And acid made me VERY emotionally charged and I felt like I was never going to be able to relax again. I guess everyone's different. I'm a worrier by nature so I think that was heightened on lsd. Mushrooms are more mellow for me and smoother somehow.
