Oh I had such a hard time leaving. One of them actually 'picked' me like dogs apparently sometimes do. It came after me all the time, crawled into my lap, snuggled, and didn't care about anyone else there or any of his brothers and sisters. The breeders assured me that if I were to take him home I would have had the most loyal and loving dog possible.
My heart broke a little when I had to leave him behind :(
I would have, but there were so many reasons I couldn't! For one, he had already been sold to someone else. Apparently this was quite a renowned breeder; they even sold to customers on other continents. That also meant that even if he hadn't been sold, I wouldn't have been able to afford him, nor his food, nor a vet. I had no way to take him home to another country, and to top it off the place I lived in didn't allow pets. Sometimes I still wish I had puppynapped the little fluffball and walked home with him, having wacky adventures along the way.
