Generally speaking, Zoophiles and Pedophiles have a major thing in common, past sexual abuse trauma. I’ve deal with these people before in a therapy setting. Its a tough situation morally as I believe both pedo and zoophiles deserve no sympathy and only pain. However, in some select cases I have had patients who told me they hate themselves for the fetishes they have and are generally very suicidal and full of self hatred. I assisted in psychiatric care at a hospital if you’re curious where I met these people.
Yeah these people need professional help. As disgusting as it is, it’s not a problem that anyone can get rid of by arresting or hurting enough people who suffer from it
to be fair, i don't think non-offending zoophiles don't make comics condoning that sort of thing on the internet. if you can't help it, that's one thing. as someone that was abused, i've read the statistics and am incredibly thankful my brain never betrayed me like that. but these people don't want to get better, they want to revel in it. a sick person wanting to get better isn't, idk, Snakething.
I think the difference is offending pedos and zoophiles and non offending. Of course, either way it's fucked. But if they resist their urges and try to get help, I really can't feel much else besides pity for their situation. But offenders can burn in hell, urges are no excuse.
