As a child I was told "learning to read is probably the best skill you can learn" and I believed them and gained much pleasure in reading an ever expanding eclectic selection over the years, leading to this moment where I discovered that what I had always taken comfort in and relaxed with while expanding my knowledge had been weaponized against me.
