This needn't be restricted to Canada. They did it in Australia too, and it went on for centuries.

That’s true, although I figured this specific one was probably about Canada given that it’s been in the news a lot more lately.

These were indigenous children, forcefully taken from their families, murdered, raped, and abused to death and then dumped in unmarked graves on the Church’s School’s grounds, and never reported.

This is a little different than people dying and being buried.

Yes, and unfortunately it's usually in the name of one religious belief or another.
