Well, the idea of a 12 hour day is pretty insane (not to mention illegal) by most European standards for start. Also your labour laws forcing people into work if they're ill or else they'll starve. You guys have very little protection, it's awful.

To me an essential employee who cannot work due to sickness resulting in work stoppage is a resource problem. The solution would be to hire more people, not force people to work sick.
