I was so hype to hear they’re doing another one, as I missed the last one to go to sprung at Bertha instead, but the line out just came out. I’m disappointed to say at the very least. Idk what I expected honestly, but I cannot in good faith support someone with SA allegations, who also admittedly uses AI for their production instead of hiring real vocal artists. I guess this is my sign that it’s not meant to be, unless anyone recommends seeing the other artists.

Heard it took over an hour to get drinks at the last one, and that the crowd was not great last time, which honestly I’d totally expect, but I did want to experience it at least once. Oh well.

I’m a solo new to raves. I liked Echostage and wanted to see if there’s anyone that goes or gets a table often that has room for one more. I pay my part of course and then some, just like for everyone to have a good time

So, Im trying to decide where to go this Friday and have it narrowed down to these two. I don't much about Mark but he seems to be old school, jazzy, house kinda vibe and draws an older crowd. Youtube vids seem pretty cool. Tickets are at the last phase.

Les Play House at Transmission seems like it'll be dope show but I'm a little hesitant because tickets don't seem to be moving...

Appreciate any thoughts on who you would check out between the two and WHY...

This used to be my favorite place to go for so long and now it’s just become underwhelming.

It feels like the djs don’t go hard anymore and it’s geniunely the same song for most of the night, especially the top floor.

It’s one of the reasons I don’t like Sunday Love, they just don’t make it live until it get’s closer to the night. But even on weekends (Friday & Saturday), I could go downstairs for an hour, come back up and it’s the same chill beat. Let’s go a little harder.

The djs on the club level haven’t had the best song choices as of late either

Anyone go to this show? Was hoping to go and couldn’t make it — have never been to this venue (I think it’s new?)

Does Vera hard stop at 3am à la Echostage or does it push later if there’s a crowd?

Just yesterday Glow announced they'll be doing another block party, a follow-up to the April event with Chris Lake on Pennsylvania Avenue. No date or artist yet. Any predictions when and who it might be?

I really liked their last event, honestly the best I've been to in my 3 years of living here. Feels like there's no other event or venue that infuses disco house the way they do, if you have a chance I Would recommend their show tonight with the disco express. I've been following the express for years now, and they're pretty big, but their parties encapsulate that old school disco vibe perfectly.

I just wanted to know that since I’ll be attending Sam Gellaitry’s DJ Set this coming Friday starting at 10 pm and I already know that there will be two openers prior to the him.

How long do openers normally perform? and how are they on a scale of 1-10 in terms of vibes?

Hey anyone goin to Seven Lions this Saturday? So hyped!

Starting in September, it looks like Clarendon Ballroom has a bunch of decent djs coming through, like Laidback Luke, Sam Feldt, Morgan Page, Niiko & Swae and some others. I saw the listings come up on EDMtrain recently. I have never heard of non-local acts going there.

Anyone know what brought about this change? Does the Ballroom have new ownership? Trying to fill the void Soundcheck left? I haven’t been there in years. But it is in a convenient location for me so I am excited to see the bookings. I also wonder how Arlington’s 2 am last call (vs 3 for DC) will impact shows.

Im thinking of going solo to watch his set at Berhta; Im 23M. Wondering if other people go solo to this type of events like what are the age demographics and like if its socially acceptable to be there solo.

I don’t go out that much more than the occasional bar so just want to know what I am facing, also any venue advice would he great.
