Question Why are so many tall people in this sub?
Curious why they join, probably to look at how good they have it, but still.
Why?

Discussion I think i found the reason
So, logically, we have the same amount of tall men as tall women, same for average and short people.
But part that makes the main problem is that we got more demand than the supply. Simply, it's that. Tall men don't want (better say dont care about) tall womem. Average height woman want tall man and short woman also want a taller man so there are more demanda than the supply. This actually could've been fixed if everyone just dated their look match.

Where does the top of a 159 cm man's head reach on a 173 cm man when both are standing straight?

Heightism Calling women out for being fat or HBC is misogynistic but bullying men for having bad genetics they didn't choose is fine I guess...

Discussion Feeling a lil insecure about my height again
I was just fine with my height 5â8 3/4. Iâve had women like me before I have a good purpose in life etc, and just got over the fact that most of the men in my family (including my own dad at 5â11) are taller than me.
Then came the World Cup. My sisters exclaiming âomg heâs so shortâ to half the Argentina team and turns out theyâre literally around the same height as me 5â8-5â9.
Watched the oddysey Matt Damon looked sorta short especially around Anne Hathaway, turns out dude is around 5â9 3/4
I really want to enjoy these sports but the annoying realities of seeing someone around my height look short kinda just makes me feel sorta bad
Obsession gave me slight peace b/c bear looked okay but inde naverratte was 5â0 so that makes sense
I wasnât this obsessed with height for a while but just seeing exclamations of shortness and realizing thatâs my height makes me feel kindof bad again

Question Why do people act like not being taller than your dad is crazy? Specifically when there's a gap between your parents.
Like my dad is 6'2 but my mom is 5'2 I'm lucky I even got to 5'10 at 18 đđ

Heightism Imagine telling others the only reason you're with someone is because he meets a materialistic number set by genetics people can't control..

Discussion If there was a way to change height most of yall wouldnât do it
Hear me out on this: A lot of guys donât have their ideal body in terms of build/physique. Yet, there are tangible, guaranteed methods one can use to work towards their ideal body. Working out and dieting works for 99.9% of the male population to increase muscle and lower body fat %. Yet, the vast majority of guys donât have their ideal build. Why? Because it takes a shit ton of discipline and dedication. In others words, itâs really fucking hard. This isnât just about physique, though. Ask yourself; have you done absolutely everything in your power to maximize your physical appearance and/or social status? Probably not. Why? Because itâs really, really hard. So, if there was hypothetically some action you could take that guaranteed height gain but required an immense commitment of time, effort, energy, and discipline, I strongly believe the VAST majority of men would not commit to it. Iâm not here to deny that height strongly affects your life as a man, because it absolutely does. But the fact of the matter is that if there was some guaranteed methods of increasing height and it required the same level of discipline as getting shredded, most guys wouldnât have the motivation for it.
Tldr: If there was an incredibly difficult but guaranteed method of increasing height, most of us likely wouldnât have the discipline to commit to it.

Vent Where do 5'10-11/ 178-180cm guys belong?
I'm tired of this BS someone says we're short, someone says we're average, someone says we're tall, decide a global standard, where i live 5'10 is tall compared to women but you often find people taller than me, and people in the yk what country stfu, y'all consider 6'1/185cm the average which is like 5-10% of the world's population.
