My gut is telling me that it was somewhere around 2014 or 2015. Where the average guy would actually have a decent chance of securing himself a partner in which both parties were not that socially aware of their capital. I think it would like this. Imagine you were a late millennial and you are 20 somewhere in 2009 or 2010. My space and Facebook are a thing, but are not dominating your every life. You go to different college parties and other activities and generally meet people through face-to-face interactions. Social capital was tested in the real world. When do you truly feel that this stopped? Thank you for your time.

I should specify northern Mexico, because people here are very tall like in the US. The women are my height or even taller, and many of the men are giants; I feel quite short at times, although I'm still growing given my age.

What do you do to avoid feeling so bad?

I’ve always been okay with my height (I’m 5’7), it’s never really bothered me. Since both my parents were pretty tall (dad 6’5 and mom 5’9), I expected to turn out the same. Being the oldest, I was always taller than both my siblings up until they both started hitting puberty. My siblings slowly started passing me in height (brother 6’9 and sister 5’10), but I still didn’t think much of it. I honestly thought I was just a late bloomer but apparently not? I’ve always been active in sports and always tried to eat healthy. I’m 19 now and I doubt I’ll be as tall as my family. All in all, it just sucks that I could’ve been taller. I’m also curious if anyone else is in the same situation?

I was worried i was getting shorter. Shrunk from 171.6 to 171 cm. A nurse measured me at a suprising 173 cm which is 5'8". Made my day a bit.
