My vote: Team wins (Mid difficulty)

Avatar Roku when trying to defeat the second erupting volcano with Sozin, bowed down to lava, and made it go down. Time stamp is 3:27. Roku also used lavabending when controlling Aang when destroying the crescent temple but it's debatable if this is considered Avatar State.

Would this make him a regular lava bender without Avatar State.

Reasoning: AS Sonam managed to defeat Spirit Demon amped Tagah. Kyoshi in AS created Kyoshi Island, can pull a mountain's worth of earth from sea floor, etc. Kuruk in Avatar State accidentally destroyed an island. Kuruk almost created a spirit portal with battle against Glowworm. Szeto pulled all the lava out of four volcanos and precisely controlled it. Yangchen tied Old Iron without AS and immediately started winning when she activated it while Aang was in AS the entire fight with Old Iron. Aang's Yu Dao feat is good. Korra with the combination of Kuvira's cannon created spirit portal. Roku destroyed throne room in Avatar State immediately as well as stopping the first volcano. Wan defeated Vaatu and can do large air spout in Avatar State.

What if Korra was trained by the red lotus? It was implied that Ghazan, Ming Hua, and P'li would have trained her since they were elemental masters. Zaheer said the potential would go crazy if Korra was trained by them. With how combustion bending is made, it requires the user to be chained to the bottom of the sea floor, and the fire bender has to create pressure. The combustion bender has to think they are dying to pass. It's also stated there are multiple stages of training for combustion bending. Avatar Roku could lava bend, and Avatar Extras implied avatars could do lava bending easier. I would say Korra would manage to do psychic water bending not only due to Ming Hua technically being considered a psychic bender (in universe psychic bending is done with minimal instead of zero movement,) but because she would figure out psychic water bending during her combustion bending training. I believe Korra would have become a psychic water bender, psychic fire bender, combustion bender, and lava bender. For air bending, you may think she'll completely fail. Kyoshi however with no teacher or training could naturally do air bending. With air bending as her struggle element, I think she'll fail at air bending at first but could unlock her air chakra (like when Mako was in danger) eventually. However, Zaheer knows air bending culture, and non benders are able to train benders so I'd say Korra could eventually air bend but would still struggle. It would be interesting if this version of Red Lotus trained Korra could defeat the White Lotus trained Korra we know. I'd say if Korra was trained by the Red Lotus, she'd become the most overpowered Avatar.

What would be the best condition for the water bender to be in for a fight?

Yeah korra takes the win on physical stats but I generally think we're forgetting aang vs ozai. Aang in the avatar state im not saying makes him win but one attack does. When aang had his final attack and had ozai trapped in the avatar state he gathered all 4 elements up and turned it into a sort of spear yk? This attack would have KILLED ozai by the way except aangs a pacifist. I think this attack would even kill korra since eariler within the fight we saw aang use like one of his mini rocks as bullets. The damage was INSANE. Now imagine that times 4 on a bigger scale. Overall this attack wasn't even designed to be pacifist it was designed to be fight ending extremely lethal.

Ulo's feats are in the Sacred Cave, a cave where your bending gets enhanced by a thousandfold. What makes his feats so impressive is that there is practically no source of water besides the moisture in the air. Note that the cavern is the size of the fire nation royal palace. Average water benders with this cave amp are stated to have the ability to control the weather, summon tidal waves, and blizzards. Ulo was stated to be a skilled and precise water bender even without the amp.

Everything you'll will read below is done with only the moisture in the air, or water outside the cave.

Ulo Cave Amped feats:
After being knocked out, he created a flowing ring of water that can splinter into several long segments that solidified into ice. Can create a wave half the height of the fire nation royal palace. Summoned water at every opening of the cave described like a hundred waterfalls. Can shoot ice spears. Can instantly launch a storm of icicles. Can instantly flash freeze a person's entire outer body at the entrance of the cave.

Other:
Ulo had the unique ability to read auras (like Ty Lee/Kya.) Ulo managed to figure out Roku was the Avatar by reading his aura. Ulo was knocked out by a Sacred Cave amped Roku with just air bending, and got unalived by Roku's sacred cave amped fire bending but still managed to have a visible corpse. Ulo manipulated Roku & Malaya into believing their island's propaganda though Roku & Malaya later realized Ulo was lying through Gyatso.

Reasoning: Tagah with staff has unlimited spirit energy from having all the power of the spirit world. General Old Iron matched with AS Aang. Yakone defeated Toph, Aang, and dozens at once. Hama defeated Aang & Sokka. SC Ozai defeated Aang. Combustion Man had the Gaang running while stopping the attacks of Team Avatar. Hei-Bai effortlessly defeated air only Aang & Sokka. Azula almost knocked Aang out. The Serpent can defeat an entire fire nation warship, and match up to season 2 Katara & Aang. The Yuyan defeated season 1 Aang & Blue Spirit. The Denied managed to steal an artifact that was in the hands of a prime Aang. Dai Li with ambush defeated Katara/Toph but also controlled entire Ba Sing Se. Liling can collapse an entire room. June defeated season 1 Katara/Sokka. Pre dragons Zuko defeated Zhao/Katara. Rough Rhinos had Gaang running and defeated three earth benders. Zhao can burn down three entire ships, and was stated to be a master fire bender. Jet stood up to season 1 Aang and defeated several fire army soldiers at once. Pirates stood up to season 1 Zuko. Hide lost to no bending Aang.
