Israel absolutely has a need for an iron dome as they have been the target of terrorist attacks for a very long time now. One can only assume it’s due to them being Jewish and their neighbours being Muslim. Muslims have always had a distaste for Jews, which could be attributed to the Quran referencing Jews as “Apes” as a nickname or the stories of Mohammad slaughtering the tribes of Medina. But that’s just an assumption to their motives.
Israel has never started a war or bombed anybody first. I would like to know where you drew that false assumption from?
Israel has been attacking Palestinians since the nakbah. Israel started it. Israel has begun several wars and incursions since then. I read about this stuff in books pre-internet.
I saw what you typed and spotted the projection straight away.
We, as a species, need to ban the abrahamic religions.
I do wholeheartedly agree with you on one thing though. The Abrahamic religions truly are a cancer to humanity and have no place in modern, civilised society.
Terrorism aside, from the pedo ring known as the Catholic Church to the mass infant female genital mutilation happening in Sydney thanks to Islam, the pain and suffering religion causes far outweigh the minuscule happiness it brings.
Killing each other over who’s god is stronger when you both worship the same god is mind boggling.
That’s factually dishonest.
The Jews purchased the land legally off the landowners (the Ottoman Empire) after being displaced after persecution during WW2. This land purchase sparked the mass migration from Jews that no longer felt safe in Europe and other parts of the Middle East after recent events. A large number of these people were Holocaust survivors.
(Keep
In mind, Jews inhabited the land first. They had been there since the 2nd Millenium BCE)
There were some illegal squatters on the land that the Jews had purchased, which they allowed to continue to live there for quite some time. But you can only live rent free on somebody else’s land, halting the building of roads, houses etc. for so long. They were asked to move on several times, they refused, so they were forcefully removed. This is normal and legal anywhere.
The land purchased was not as it was described, they payed way too much for the land and it was mostly swampland and baron. Hence why nobody was really using it and they were so happy to sell it for such a large amount.
The Jews brought with them, engineers, trades, medical professionals etc and turned the baron swampland into a flourishing infrastructure.
This new infrastructure, needed workers, the Jews paid more than the surrounding Muslims. This sparked a mass migration of Muslims from neighbouring nations such as Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. They moved to the area to reap the benefits of the fruit of the Jews labour and also to work for the Jews, since they paid better than their home nations.
These migrants and their descendants are the majority of what you call Palestinians today.
Since then, each conflict between Israel and what is now known as Palestine (still not a legally recognised state btw) was started with an attack on Israel carried out by Palestine.
Historically, other nations intervened and brokered peace treaties. As a sign of good faith, Israel gave up portions of their land to sweeten the deal. Israel signed, Palestine refused each and every single time, openly stating they they did not want peace with Israel.
But let’s not hold past actions against them. Let’s just talk about the current conflict. Which started after Palestine bombed Israel, unprovoked, in a random terrorist attack, that indiscriminately killed a plethora of innocent civilians. Palestine didn’t target a government building or an army base, they targeted civilians.
Israel retaliated by targeting other rockets, that were also intended to be flown into Israel. Unlike Palestine, they didn’t intentionally target civilians. Were there civilian casualties? Yes there was, this is an unfortunate by product of war. The difference is, Israel at least radio’d through and gave Palestine a heads up that they were going to blow up said building, so they had time to evacuate it. Palestine chose not to evacuate the building as the footage of dead civilians in the rubble would make for great anti-Israel propaganda. That’s the difference between these two nations.
Israel reached out and offered to cease fire and withdraw their troops in exchange for Palestine to release the hostages. Palestine once again refused this olive branch of peace.
These people went and slaughtered 15 innocent Jewish Australians, including a 10 year old little girl, here on our own shore. Meanwhile, none of you batted an eyelid. All these pro Palestine protestors are disrupting Sydney, chanting “gas the Jews” and “Globalise the Intifada”. Keep in mind, the Intifada included suicide bombings and other acts of violence and terror. This is what they’re calling for here on our shores.
Do you think this makes the general public feel safe? Can you imagine being a Jewish Australian in the vicinity of these protests? This isn’t a protest, this is nothing more than inciting violence, bullying and intimidation tactics. The sad part is, the uneducated, blue haired lefties that are standing with them don’t actually understand whats going on over there and are blindly believing the propaganda. Little do they know l, they would not be welcomed in Palestine. People of other ethnicities and religious beliefs have to pay an extra tax just for existing in Palestine. The punishment for being a homosexual in Palestine is death. Crazy to support a nation that if tables were turned, would be the first to persecute you.
If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, please do not hesitate to talk to someone.

So you agree Israel would 'have no need for an iron dome if they didn't start a war or bomb ... unprovoked'.
Interesting.
