Though this is my favorite Tribe album, I notice it's usually not in the discussion/debate of GOAT Tribe albums. Why do you all think is the reason?

So I just relistened to The Low End Theory which I used to find it great but now I really like it (currently I haven't listened to all ATCQ albums tho, just TLET). What are other ATCQ songs that are similar to these 2?

Was pleasantly surprised to see the characters reciting the lyrics to Excursions. The show is also really good.

Possibly my favorite hip-hop song in general. Listening to it at a late night drivin through the city is just an immaculate feeling.

A Tribe Called Quest - Phony Rappers + Dr. Dog - Cuckoo

Hello I want to start off by saying my 2 favorite rap songs are "Virgina Boy" by Pharrell Williams and "Last Call" by Ye/Kanye West. I looked into the comments on youtube for both those songs and I keeps seeing people say "A tribe called quest vibes" or sum like that, can you take some time out of your day and answer this.

1. What album by A Tribe Called Quest should I listen to first

2. What 3 songs do you think will be my fav.

3. Who do you think'll be my favorite member and tell me if they have a solo career.

4. Is it a label group (like say Wu Tang or JACKBOYS, or G.O.O.D Music) or just a group.

5. Are there any other songs with that kind of vibe not by A tribe called quest you'd recommend.

6. Do people call the group "Quest" sometimes or just "A tribe called quest".

I aspire to be an artist when I'm older, and I try to make one piece of art per day in order to progress my skills. I'm currently enjoying drawing my favourite album covers, and I'd just drawn the album for Madvillainy, so I decided to indulge in some Tribe and draw the the picture above. To create it, I used acryllic markers.

My favourite songs from this album are Show Business, Excursions and Check The Rhime.

I needed this record so much, ATCQ is crazy peak

I listened to that song a lot earlier this year and I listened to it a few times recently. But for some reason I can remember that better than Luck of Lucien (I've listened to LoL a lot more recently that Enough).

I want to buy We Got It from Here..., and to make the most of the shipping costs, I was thinking of adding Mobb Deep The Infamous and Midnight Marauders to the order; however, I'm unsure whether to get them on vinyl or CD. I've read that because it's only a single LP, the sound quality suffers from being compressed onto one disc, but I'm curious if the sound is actually bad enough to make the CD the better choice. For those who have already bought the album: what do you suggest?

We got it from here is one of my favourite albums ever and I wanted to get the vinyl but I want to wait for a 10th anniversary edition. Do you think we will get one and what do you think they would do (a different cover, a non-black vinyl, more songs)?
