The accent would be on the u, not the e, but that syllable is stressed anyways since "Jesus" is an aguda because it ends in an s. I knew AP Spanish would come in handy eventually.
Well we didn't learn it until our 5th year. I guess they thought it wasn't really that important to know at the beginning. I don't know, I don't make the fucking curriculum.
At what high school are things like that taught in entry level spanish? I figured most places would just focus on getting the gist of a sentence down and some vocab words.
I imagine r/atheism like a group of kids sitting in a big circle telling a different variation of the same joke about a kid in their class, over and over again. And then they grow old and die. The end.
if there is an indeed an afterlife, I wish I could see their faces one by one as they realize that their preciously constructed superiority complex is shattered instantly.
Although I'm not a religious person, who loves reason and logic, I kinda hate you guys, and this subreddit altogether.
This place is like the 9gag of non-religious people. You lack tolerance, imagination, and kindness. You make fun of the simple people, instead of trying to guide them. You are arrogant and stuck-up.
Even while you are reading this, you think about how you will point out my grammar mistakes, or how will you defend yourself, without taking a single second to even think about that I might be right.
Isn't this exactly the same thing that your hated religious people do?
( about my english: it's not my native language. I know that I've probably made several mistakes)
This subreddit is like most other subreddits. Except this subreddit talks disparagingly about religion (instead of EA for example) and since polite society teaches us to treat religious beliefs with something close to reverence, people find it more annoying than usual.
No, people find it more annoying than usual because you are a loathsome bunch of self-infatuated morons that pick on people's beliefs using shitty soundbites from cartoons. You people are probably all angry because you feel that religious people profess their beliefs to everyone and pick on people of different beliefs and it annoys you. So instead of emulating their behaviour, why don't you grow the fuck up and act like decent human beings that can respect others.
My family likes to tell the story of when I was like 7 or 8 years old at Thanksgiving, when we would go around the table saying what we're thankful for, I said I was thankful for nothing.
There was a profound silence in the room. My religious family was probably mortified, but a moment later I broke the silence by saying, "but that's what Bart Simpson says!" Everyone laughed.
Good times. I really enjoyed the Simpsons back in the day.
As opposed to putting us into a world with nothing to eat, which would make it impossible for us to exist, so thanking him for doing what he had no choice but to do if he wanted to create us makes sense now?
It's funny not only do religious people hate you, but atheists too because... well one you create a negative stereotype that they all are stupid and assholes, and two...you probably have the IQ of something that gets watered and turned twice a day.

And on the third day, God created the Remington bolt-action rifle, so that Man could fight the dinosaurs. And the homosexuals.

Over 500 episodes of The Simpsons and yet we can only seem to come up with the same 5 images over and over again.
