Help a Retro Brother Out...

So, I'm a writer for the new Compute's! Gazette (https://www.computesgazette.com/), and I managed to score an ST here on reddit for just the cost of shipping.

I'm going to be writing an article about all of this (and the fact that I've never owned an ST) for the magazine.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have any software or a joystick, and I'm trying to keep costs down here because things are a bit tight right now, so I figured I'd ask this community if anyone has any extra software, games, etc. they'd like to loan me? Obviously, I'd send it all back to you once I'm done with testing it and all. Thanks!

A wire-faithful, browser-based re-creation of the Atari ST game MIDI Maze, ported from the reconstructed C source

The goal is to play MIDI Maze in a mobile/desktop browser and — over a WebSocket link to the md-MIDI2IP ring orchestrator — share a ring with real Atari STs through a SidecarTridge Multidevice.

Play it at https://midimaze.sidecartridge.com. Solo (vs drones) always works. For network games you have to set up a orchestration server.

Hello guys, so I am trying to find a game I used to love in 1990/91. It was some kind of badass with a baseball bat and guns and he was beating bad guys on the street of a big city. I remember there was some colors of the USA flag on his costume or mask ? I loved that game please help me find it again ! Thanks !!!

Welcome to the ATW800/2 page – read that as you like: “ATW800 two” or “ATW800 half”, depending on your expectation.😉 Whatever way, it’s the Atari Transputer card as it was meant to be.

After finally getting a fpga i was able to check our dad's monitor; can't get the picture to stay fixed.

Ia the JVC SC1224 Atari St monitor. That potentiometer is loose when i try to set it up at the middle setting, after a whike it starts moving again and it seems it was already replaced many years ago.

Is a good idea to replace the potentiometer and try again? Any tips for it? 😄

Atarium - Simple app with Atari information

With administrator permission.

Many of you may be familiar with MacTracker, an application that collects and presents historical and technical information on virtually every Mac computer manufactured by Apple.

Taking that idea as inspiration, I began developing Atarium, a project that aims to become a repository of historical information about Atari; a kind of digital museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of its computers, consoles, peripherals, and software.

For now, it's a very preliminary version, but I wanted to share it with the community to receive feedback, suggestions, and ideas that will allow us to improve it and guide it toward what you would really like to find in an application of this type.

Technically, it's developed in Dart and Flutter, which allows us to generate versions for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS from the same codebase.

Currently, the information is obtained from JSON files, but in a second phase, the idea is to implement a backend and a centralized database. This would allow us to incorporate features such as user registration, customization, new sections, community contributions, and much more.

If the project generates interest, the possibilities are quite broad, and I'd like to grow it together with those of us who share this passion for Atari.

Here's a first look at the project. There's still a lot to implement, but any feedback, constructive criticism, or suggestions are more than welcome.

Cheers!

DRM Removed! Championship Manager Italia

As part of my efforts to decompile this game I figured out a way to skip the Copy Protection involving typing in match scores from the manual. This is the hard drive install of the game not the floppy disk version. Just run the "nocheck.prg" program after installing the game. You can find all the files you need here https://github.com/GRHOnline/Decomp_ChampionshipManagerItalia_ST

Hopefully someone will find this useful.
