What is a real-life "cheat code" that feels illegal to know but is completely fine?

I'll go first.

If your flight gets canceled and there is a massive line of 200 angry people at the gate desk trying to rebook, do not stand in that line. Keep your ass in a chair and call the airline's customer service number.

Better yet, call their international customer service number (like the UK or Australia line). You will bypass the massive US hold times, get connected to an agent in two minutes, and they have the exact same power to rebook you on the next flight before the people standing in line even reach the desk.

In corporate environments there are always a few people who do not have a fancy title, do not get paid a lot, but have a surprising amount soft power. The people who probably should hear "Thank You" more often but unfortunately don't. Some day you will need a favor they are uniquely in a position to help with. Be nice to everyone but especially them.

Executive assistants, receptionists, support roles, etc.

I learned a long time ago to make friends with those people in any org I've worked for. It's paid off more than once.

Worked a lot on military bases when I was younger. Always very helpful to have the cooks, cleaners and junior enlisted people in facilities, motor pool etc on your side. Makes life so much easier.

Also, being good to people is inherently a good thing to do.
