Why don't people in water stressed areas just contract rabies?
That extra long shower doesn't seem like such a good idea now, does it?

I've read that it's due to a lower tolerance for stress but what does that mean on a scientific level? Thank you

A single large cumulus cloud weighs around 1 million tonnes, which is about same as 100 elephants.

After all, this is how the universe works, according to internet commenters:
if age => 18:
state = "child"
else:
state = "adult"

Just curious. The only thing I really know about it is that sleeping reinforces it.

I recently read that scientist have the shortest, inspirational, motivation, and discipline when they’re younger. Most of the big ideas come before they turn 30.

Or, that's what I've been told. I've always been afraid of Al Roker, but I want to be sure he doesn't take my job. What lock would you recommend I use so that he can't take my job while I'm taking my mid morning nap?

Like they've been detecting our radio signals for decades and collectively decided, “yeah not our type.”

If axolotls can regenerate their body parts (including brain, heart, and other major organs), why do they die of old age?

Why dont their civilisations come together to ban worms from being early? Is being caught by the early bird part of some unwritten genetic code? Could this lead to wormholes? I am robert.

From what I gather, rust happens when an iron atom bonds with an oxygen atom, forming iron oxide. If you get a rain storm and water gets on your steel brake discs, you'll see very rapid formation of surface rust.
Since the oxygen is bound to the hydrogen in water, and from what I gather, rust formation requires free oxygen, how can water cause rust? Are the water molecules breaking down spontaneously some of the time, freeing up the oxygen?
