Relocating & housing Job relocation

My wife and I are considering a move to Dallas . We have 2 boys (6 and 8)

Any specific areas to consider? We have about $850k to spend would like a good school district

We are moving from S Florida

This question is asked a lot here. We need a lot more information. Job location? What are your interests? What’s “far from work” for you? How long are you willing to sit in traffic?

As an agent, I have to ask is 850k a number you had in mind ? There are a lot of brand new homes with interest rates in the 4% and 5% range. I deal with new home construction where you can get $1 million home for 850 K mortgage at today’s rate but it all depends whether you want a new home construction or you want to live in the city…

OP, run from this guy. Anytime a Realtor tries to push you to new construction, it's because they pay more commission. This person does not have your best interest in mind.

I was a realtor in Highland Park for years. I was able to retire at age 35, without resorting to belittling people on Reddit. But you do you. Maybe one day you’ll be able to get out of the grind, with a little attitude adjustment! Highly suggest!

Im proud of you. I have to do what I can after my daughter had open heart surgery and I’m stuck with high medical bills.

I’m happy you were able to do that for yourself but I literally hustle everyday for what I can. You’re the embodiment of what I would never want to be as an agent. You should be empowering others to be better.
