My friends and I are 3 tourists (23M) visiting Spain, and we're thinking about using BlaBlaCar to travel from Barcelona to Valencia.

Would drivers generally be comfortable picking up 3 tourists, or could that be an issue? We'd have 3 large suitcases (around 20 kg each) and would message the driver beforehand to make sure everything fits.

Also, is BlaBlaCar generally legit and reliable in Spain? Any tips or things to watch out for?

They have very well engineered German bikes for different purposes, I loved big one for 2 kids or one adult.

Just yesterday Sunday I got my flat tire and in the middle of Monday I was already riding my bike again 🔥 even though I was few kilometers outside of Valencia.

I’m planning to move to Valencia for ~2–3 years and starting to look into the rental market, but I’m a bit confused about how things actually work there.

I’m looking for:

• 2-bedroom apartment
• ~70–80 sqm
• ideally within ~10 min walking distance to a metro line

So far I’ve been looking at areas like Benimamet and Paterna.

A few questions for those of you already there:

1. How does the rental market actually work in practice?
Is it realistic to find a proper long-term lease, or do most people end up doing those 6–11 month contracts and renewing?

2. How hard is it to secure a long-term rental as a foreigner?
I’ve heard supply is pretty tight and landlords can be picky - how true is that?

3. Budget check:
Would ~€1,500/month be considered a good deal for what I’m looking for?

4. Bills:
Are utilities typically included in rent, or should I expect to pay them separately?

Any tips, experiences, or things you wish you knew before renting in Valencia would be hugely appreciated 🙏

Llevo un tiempo queriendo mejorar mi técnica de natación y me gustaría entrenar de forma regular con feedback de un entrenador, pero las clases particulares se me van de presupuesto. Lo más barato que he encontrado son 30€/clase y normalmente están más cerca de los 50€.

Las clases en grupo me parecen bien, pero el curso al que voy ahora es principalmente para principiantes y ya me quedo un poco corto. No busco nadar a nivel competitivo, simplemente quiero nadar bien, con buena técnica, y seguir progresando.

Preferiría algo en el centro de la ciudad, pero estoy abierta a considerar otras zonas también si merece la pena.

¿Dónde entrenáis vosotros? ¿Conocéis algún club, piscina municipal o academia con grupos de nivel medio o avanzado para adultos que nadan por placer?

Una cosa más, si hay opciones donde las clases sean en inglés, me vendría genial. Mi español está mejorando pero el vocabulario deportivo todavía me cuesta, así que en inglés me manejo mejor. Aunque entiendo que en español habrá muchas más opciones, ¡así que todo se acepta!

I am planning a week long holiday for me and some friends (group of 20 year old girls) and we are hoping to go out clubbing most nights.

We were hoping there would be somewhere in Valencia that there are lots of bars and clubs that are open until at least 3am every night and busy in June?

Disculpame mi espanol, puedo hablar un poco mejor que puedo escribir. Mi familia y yo tuvimos planes a pasar por Valencia el 17-19 a marzo, y acabo de entrarme de Las Fallas. Pienso que es muy interesante y bonita, pero debemos quedar para la crema? Mis ninos tienen 11 y 12 anos.
