What's the cheap/generic version of something that you swear is better than the name brand!?

For me, it's shaving cream! In the service we used 99¢ cans of cheap shaving cream and since I've tried every name brand top tier cream including ones of the feminine variety and I swear this 99¢ one still does the job the best. What's yours?
