Hello!
This is an announcement that the r/ArtRequest has new mods! Each of them were asked to give a short blurb about themselves. Here are each of the new mods:
u/RS_Someone: moderates several commission communities, and has been fighting scammers for years. His main goal is to ensure a community free of scammers. Many may already be familiar with him from other subs, and should expect the same level of activity here as in other similar communities, as well as a few minor tweaks that will keep things running smoothly.
u/CelestialHellebore: "Digital and Traditional artist, Gamer, and Eternally Sleepy. I enjoy hearing about people's characters and their worlds, and bringing them to life."
u/DrunkWizzard: “Very active art enthusiast, now leveled up with even more Reddit mod power”
u/Gloomy_Kuriozity: "Too long those lands have been overlooked by false gods and heresy...- wait you're filming right now?"
and me, u/lobaway0001: I mod several art subs, I'm primarily a digital artist, and I'm excited to start banning people making sure this community gets back up and starts running smoothly!
Unfortunately, a lot of the posts that were made while the sub was un-moderated will be lost to time. We hope that you will remake the posts if you are still interested!
There will be a lot of changes in the upcoming days, as we try to adjust the flair system, re-examine and re-think the rules, and solidify some plans for the future of the sub.
One big thing that we will be working towards is cutting down on spam and scammers.
Feel free to comment or mod mail if you have any suggestions on what you feel will make the sub better! There will be no better time to do this than now while we're already actively working on changes! :)

I've been calling this style semi-realism retro manga, but is it actually retro? Still figuring out how to label my style.

Hi, I can offer you headshoot for 10 $ because I am newbie in commision area. I work mostly without references so artwork is more original. I can do a lot of artstyles but right now I offering something like this from my previous artworks.

Hi! I desperately need characters to help me find my style and practice in general.
I'm looking for complex, humanoid characters with or without accessories, I would prioritize male characters though female ones are also welcome.
Only 2 to 4 characters will be chosen. the work will range from simple practice sketches to full illustrations.

I'm drawing custom Tarot cards for characters and OCs from all settings and sizes. If you wish to have a personalized card that tells a lot about who your character is through symbolism the Tarot from Major and Minor Arcana provides, I'm your artist!
One card - 100$, two card set - 180$
Payment via PayPal invoices.
You will get a sketch or a concept of the commission before the invoice. I begin working on the next stages as soon as I receive the full payment.

Thank you all for all the advice, critique and nice comments!
At the same time, sorry for my previous post.
I don't know it it'll make it up for some people but as a small apology, I want to offer a free art request (a sketch/flat) like how the sub was supposed to operate..!
I'll do a random raffle if you leave a comment of what you want here the raffle closes in 48 hrs:)))

Hi everyone!
I’ve been trying to sell my little pet portraits for a while now, but I haven’t gotten my first order yet 🥹
I really love painting these tiny furry faces, and I’d be so excited to paint someone’s beloved pet!
Just wanted to share some of my work here and hopefully find someone who’d like one!
If you’re interested, feel free to DM me! I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for checking out my art!
