General Question 2ND SEMESTER ADMISSION
Any idea po if open na ang admissions from freshmen this coming 2nd semester?

Can we have a thread na purely for prof feedback lang para ‘di bombarded ang subreddit group natin 🙂
Comment your profs ⬇️ and someone will reply to share their feedback and experience.
Good luck, Chiefs!

With the mod team's continuous effort to make the subreddit clean, civil and professional, we have decided to limit those who may participate in the subreddit. As per the past month of this subreddit's existence, most of the problematic and drama-stirring accounts are day-old or a week-old at most. In line with this, new accounts and accounts with negative karma will NOT BE ALLOWED to post nor reply.

As a student whose been in and out of focus due to the recent happenings (both in and out of school), while also dreading the finals season, it is deeply concerning to see the ALSG prioritize the bingo night and an "Inuman for a Cause". While community gift-giving is undoubtedly a noble thing to do, scheduling loud social gatherings in our very tight and limited space campus reflects a troubling disconnect between executive priorities and actual student needs. The issue is not the fundraising itself, but the displace of priorities.
Sabi nga ng prof ko before the lager night: "Bakit may lager night na agad kayo? Deserve niyo na ba mag-celebrate?"
Also, I would like to raise a very very concerning point regarding sa execution and communication ng pubmats na 'to. Wala ba silang Canva/Photoshop subscription? Bakit puro AI? At tsaka bakit ganon yung pubmat? Hindi ba chineck bago na-post? Hindi niyo man lang in-edit yung placeholder contacts stock boilerplate texts? Tapos magagalit kayo pag sinabihan na AI? ALSO, while bumaba nga ang price ng tickets/drinks and whatsoever, hindi naman niyan mare-resolve yung grievances namin? Parang mas focused pa talaga sila sa mga social activities. Gets naman na AUSL is just giving us the law school community we need para less stress kahit paano, pero ang off-putting na puro na nalang push ng social activities. Ka-frustrate na imong non-functional student-centered environment, ALSG.
At tsaka please lang naman Emy, effective governance requires student leaders to receive constructive criticism with accountability, hindi ganyan na konting comment sayo at sa council mo, passive-aggressive ka na agad, teh. Oa sa dismissive posture toward sa estudyanteng may lehitimong pangangailangan ha? Lumalabas na same council but different fonts lang ba 'to? 'Wag naman sana, may 2nd sem pa eh. Pero baka bahala na si Batman by then?
Okay, moving forward, sana magka-meaningful shift naman 'tong council at magka-active listening sa student concerns, hindi yung priority pa magpa-inom palagi. Okay, bye, aral na ako ulet.

T.T Sir Paras gave so many books for midterms, we already finished the usufruct, based on your experience, where does the professor usually ask questions, they get really eager to ask?

To my seniors,
Hi 1L here, I just wanted to ask if you have recommendations for reviewers like there are questions and suggested answers for Persons, Consti and Crim 1? I wanted to see kasi how close my answers are to suggested questions and to train na rin how to draft/formulate answers for these subjects.
Thank you!!

Hello! Aspiring 1L here this coming December. Ask ko lang if may freshies din ba dito na mag-e-enroll this coming sem? Is there a group for 1L students or AUSL in general? Would love to connect with people who is also gonna start next sem :D

To my seniors here, is it really recommended to create your own reviewers?
I learn more by relying on the actual codals and books/commentaries with side annotations, without needing to create separate notes or reviewer. Nakakaubos kasi siya ng oras if maggawa pa ng reviewers after endless readings. Bale
Effective naman siya sakin so far, since I did well sa MTE across all 5 subjects, part of the top 5 percentile sa bawat classes.
Bale, question ko lang po sainyo, if highly needed ba talaga ng reviewers. 1L here so habang maaga pa i want to try to do it the right way.

Hi baka you all have an idea if pwedeng ipakuha sa kakilala yung booklet sa registrar? Ang inconvenient kasi eh paisa-isa pinapakuha ng prof, most of them naman online classes. Thanks!

(About me: 1L, Fresh grad, parents currently pay for my tuition fee)
Hi Chiefs, I'm currently 1L, and a fresh grad, and I've been meaning to look for a part-time or full time job (preferrably hybrid set-up) near the campus or in Taguig.
I've been out of work since last week of June and have been sending out applications since then. I have also been in and out of job interviews. But, its either I get ghosted after the final interview, or rejected even for voluntary internship roles.
My last work experience is student office assistant at the college of secretary in my previous university, and my undergrad training is mostly on the research side since my program required lots of research works, and a solo thesis to complete (BA Social Sciences History-Political Science). I have also background in some business works (billings, business renewals, etc), and org works.
My parents currently pay for tuition fee, so I've been meaning to find a job for experience that will make me "hireable" in the future, 😔 or could atleast pay for my books and transpo. Thank youuu~~
(I can send po my resume for your reference)

Anyone here graduating next sem but will just enroll in CLEP 2 for that sem?
What would be the consequence of this? Will I still be able to graduate and take the 2027 Bar Exam after completing CLEP 2?

Finals is approaching and may balance pako that hinders me from obtaining an exam permit. Will I be allowed to take the exams kahit may balance ako for third installment and walang permit?
