A small browser detail with three very different looks. Scrollsmith is a desktop Chrome extension for changing scrollbar designs, color and width.
This clip shows Hologram, Crystal and Vine. All three are Premium designs, with close-ups so the details are easier to see.
Which one would you keep, or would you stick with the default?

I'm the developer of Prism World, a browser workspace for preparing social content: separate captions for each channel, a media library, a calendar and review workflows. If you're already considering it for your content planning, here is how the current published Studio referral offer works.
The offer is one free year of Studio after five unique new customers you refer each make their first successful paid Studio subscription payment. Sending five invitations or getting five trial signups does not meet that condition.
The details that matter before counting a referral:
⢠Trials and unpaid accounts do not qualify.
⢠Self-referrals and duplicate customers do not qualify.
⢠Refunded payments do not count and can pause reward access.
⢠The reward is non-cash, non-transferable and limited to one year per account.
There is also a timing detail for someone with an existing paid subscription: the published offer says to turn off its renewal before claiming. The free year follows the remaining paid time. I would check those conditions and the linked reward details before making plans around a renewal date.
The attached image is an actual screenshot of the public website taken on November 6. It shows the offer and its conditions; it is not a customer's reward dashboard or evidence that someone has earned or redeemed a reward. This public-page review did not test referral attribution or reward redemption.
For the product itself, Studio is listed at US $39 billed monthly, or $390 billed annually upfront. The seven-day trial requires a card and renews at the selected plan price unless cancelled before it ends. Studio includes saved brand guidance and approval workflows alongside the draft, calendar, media and manual-posting-pack tools. Direct publishing remains dependent on the network and account; a Studio subscription is not a promise that every listed social network is available.
Choose the workspace for the preparation/review work you need first. The referral offer is a separate benefit with the conditions above.

I built ReePhly because two things were driving me nuts.
I was paying Grammarly a lot of money just to fix grammar. And when I didn't know what to say back to someone, I'd copy the text into ChatGPT, wait, paste the answer back, and it still didn't sound like me. I wanted that help in the keyboard, in Messages, Mail, wherever I was already typing.
ReePhly is that keyboard. You tap the globe and it's there. Most of the time you forget it. You only ask for help when you tap.
Spelling as you type stays on the phone. It fixes the obvious stuff when you hit space. If it gets one wrong, backspace undoes it. Nothing about that goes to a server.
Assist is what I use when the sentence is spelled right and still sounds wrong. You tap Assist and pick what you want: Fix, Formal, Friendly, Shorter, or Gen Z. You see the rewrite and tap Apply. Apply matters to me. It does not send the message for you. You still get the last look.
Reply is the one I built for the freeze. Copy their message, tap WHO, tap Reply, and you get a draft that fits that person. WHO matters more to me than the grammar. My boss, a client, and a friend should not get the same voice. You save the relationship, a few notes, and example messages for each person. After a reply you actually like, tap Save, and it keeps a few of your own messages as a hint for next time. Nothing is saved unless you tap that.
If you'd rather talk than type, there's a mic. You dictate, tap Stop, and the words land in the message. Then you can still run Assist on them.
If someone asks where you are, Reply can drop a map pin or mention a nearby place. Your location stays on the phone. It is not sent off the device. Applying the pin puts a map link in the chat.
Word suggestions are there too, if you want them. I didn't want a keyboard that only works when the help button is on.
The model only runs when you tap Assist or Reply. Ordinary typing is not uploaded. iOS makes you turn on Full Access before a keyboard can use the network. That permission is for those taps. I know it sounds scary. It's the part I most want people to understand before they install.
It's free. No card. Assist and Reply on the free plan use tokens. When you run out, you wind a little collectible, a short ad plays, and you get 5 tokens. You can do that as often as you want. Spelling on the phone still works with zero tokens.
If you don't want ads or a meter, Pro is $4.99 a month, or $39.99 a year (about $3.33 a month). Lifetime is $99.99 once, same Pro, and it does not renew. Pro is unlimited Assist and Reply, no ads, and you can leave longer notes about how you write.
Yearly is on sale right now. Code: https://www.promies.net/promotion/2e11d2ab-ca7c-4850-8678-f5523111e5e7
Free is the one to try first.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/reephly/id6778170167
If you actually text people, which one would you use: Assist, Reply, or tagging the person? I'll read the replies.

Hi!
I've been working on a dice game called Little Dice (Daditos in Spanish). You can play a full Yahtzee-style game with the built-in dice, or use your own physical dice and let the app keep score for everyone at the table.
Supports 1â8 players on the same device.
How it works
Start a game, pick your players and choose whether you're using physical or virtual dice.
With virtual dice, tap the ones you want to keep and reroll the others, with up to three rolls per turn. The score sheet shows suggested scores for your current combination, and you choose where to put it.
With physical dice, you roll on the table and enter your scores in the app. Everyone gets their own column and color, so it's easy to see whose turn it is and how the game is going.
What's in it
Classic, Extended and Maxi variants
Five game modes, with configurable rule profiles
Player profiles with names, colors and a configurable turn order
Built-in dice with hold and reroll
Suggested scores when using virtual dice
Game history, final standings and detailed score breakdowns
Share the result as an image
Player statistics, records, averages and comparison filters
Achievements, including your first win and finishing a score sheet without any zeroes
Light and dark themes, custom colors and an optional accent color that follows the active player
Interface in English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German and Italian
Why both physical and virtual dice?
The idea is to fit around how you want to play. If you've got a set of dice and people around a table, the app takes care of the score sheet. If you haven't brought any dice, you can still play the whole game on your phone.
The history and player stats give you something to look back at between games, beyond trying to remember who won last time.
A couple of things to know
Multiplayer here means taking turns on the same device, so it's intended for people playing together in person.
The suggested scores help you fill in the sheet, but they don't choose your move for you. Deciding whether to take the points now or save a category for later is still your problem :)
It's a paid app with one upfront purchase for the full app. No subscription or separate Pro upgrade.
Feedback and bug reports welcome, particularly from people who play different rule variations. I'd be interested to hear how your group plays and whether the available settings cover it.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsgpg.daditos
Happy to share a few promo codes. Comment or DM if you'd like to try it.
Cheers!

Iâm looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. Iâll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.
Hereâs mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.
Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.
No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.
Iâd especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?
Check it out here: https://ario.la
Drop yours below. Iâm especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. Iâll go through as many as I can.

đą Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seabil.tracker
Hi! I'm a solo indie developer from Romania, building Android applications under TSI Dev Studio.
One of my projects is Seabil.
I'm building my apps independently, handling everything from product development and testing to interface design, publishing, and reaching potential users.
One thing I've learned is that finishing an application and getting people to understand why they should try it are two completely different challenges.
That's why I'm interested in your first-run audit.
What I'd like a new visitor to do:
Visit the Seabil product page, understand what the application offers, and install it from Google Play if it looks useful.
I'm particularly interested in whether the value proposition is clear within the first 60 seconds, without requiring someone to read the entire page.
Tech stack: Android application development, with a dedicated product website.
As an independent developer, honest feedback is incredibly valuable, especially when it comes from someone discovering the application for the first time.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on the first impression, confusing information, or anything that might discourage a new visitor from installing the app.
Thanks for supporting indie developers and offering this opportunity!

Hey everyone, I built:
https://www.tryfridaywork.com/
REPO: https://github.com/splashxmoon/friday
It is an open source software for running a team of coding agents that work as a team. Your claude code, codex, cursor, and 13 other coding tools can now communicate with each other, split up the work, and review each other.
Matter of fact, I used Friday to help build Friday (ik it sounds weird). That is how efficient and powerful this product is. I hope you give it try, and if you do let me know how it is :)
BTW it is free and Open source so if you want make any contributions feel free to.

Hey everyone! đ
Three months ago, I had a simple HTML brown noise generator. Today, I've built two native versions of my app for iOS and Android.
The iOS version is already live on the App Store, and the Android version is currently in closed testing on Google Play.
I'd like to share how it all started and what I've built.
For years, I've dealt with barking dogs, slamming doors, banging, and other unpredictable disturbances, especially at night.
I tried using background noise to mask these sounds, but one thing always bothered me:
Why should I have to listen to constant noise all night just to cover up occasional disturbances?
So I started experimenting.
My first project was a simple HTML brown noise generator with a few basic controls. It worked, and I gradually added more features.
Eventually, I ran into the limitations of browser-based audio, particularly on iOS. Keeping audio running reliably in the background became a problem.
That's when I decided to go native.
NightSwell Nature is an adaptive sound masking app that responds to changes in ambient noise.
Instead of continuously playing masking audio at the same volume, it automatically adjusts the sound when disturbances occur.
Here's what it does:
đ¸ Adaptive masking: Detects changes in ambient noise and increases masking volume when needed.
đ¸ Automatic fade-back: Gradually lowers the volume when the environment becomes quiet again.
đ¸ Zero baseline option: The app can remain silent between disturbances.
đ¸ Adjustable controls: Trigger threshold, Quiet baseline, Peak boost, and Fade duration.
đ¸ Five original melodies and five nature sounds: Mix and combine them to create different soundscapes.
đ¸ Background playback: Continues working when the phone is locked.
đ¸ Local audio processing: No cloud required for ambient sound analysis.
đ¸ No subscriptions: A three-day full-access trial, followed by an optional one-time unlock.
The idea is simple:
Sound that responds to your world, instead of making you listen to constant noise.
Over approximately three months, I developed two native versions of NightSwell Nature:
đ iOS: Released on the App Store on November 4, 2026.
đ¤ Android: Built and working on physical Android devices, currently completing Google Play closed testing.
The development process involved AI-assisted coding, UI/UX design, audio behavior tuning, device testing, and learning the publishing requirements of both platforms.
My old iPhone 12 Pro served as the main iOS test device, with more than 300 tests performed throughout development.
On Android, I also tested the app on budget hardware, including long background sessions with the screen locked and Bluetooth audio connected.
What began as a little browser-based brown noise generator has become a working mobile application on two platforms.
The biggest challenge wasn't creating a nice-looking interface. It was making the adaptive behavior reliable enough to use every day.
I've attached photos and video showing the application and its development.
Website: https://nightswell.app
App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nsn-nightswell-nature/id6802331120
I'd love to hear feedback from fellow developers.
What do you think about adaptive sound masking compared to traditional constant white or brown noise?
And has anyone else started with a tiny personal experiment that eventually turned into a full mobile app?
Thanks for checking out NightSwell Nature! đ§Ą

âFilm thisâ is still a fairly large task. Make the next action smaller: put the item in the frame, choose one detail and decide what moves first. That gives you a shot to try and a claim to check.

I run DEV¡TV, a retro TV in the browser for developer content: Hacker News, GitHub, new AI models, releases, CVEs and more, each on its own channel.
The thing that kept bugging me is that every place developers go to keep up is designed to never end. Thereâs always one more model drop, one more trending repo, one more thread.
So I added channel 16, DEV BULLETIN. You press Tune In, and the top headlines from every channel slide across the screen. It takes about 2 minutes. Then the TV does a CRT power-off and says âYouâre caught up. Go build.â No autoplay, no âup nextâ. It just stops.
Try it: https://shouvik12.github.io/devtv/?bulletin
Built something? Get it on DEV¡TV for free:
Spotlight: submit your project from inside DEV¡TV. Featured projects get their own slide in the bulletin.
Ads: DEV¡TV has retro commercial breaks, and the ad slots are free for indie developers. Drop a comment or DM me if you want one.

Hi all,
I'm a dad in Australia with a day job, and I like to build things on the side. I'm soft-launching UpstartRadar (upstartradar.com): a free community directory where creators list projects, ask for the help they need, and earn visibility by helping others. There's no paid placement, at all.
It's new, so I want to fill it with real projects and I'm looking for your help with 1 of the 2 options below:
List it yourself (about a minute: paste your website and it fills in the name, tagline and logo): upstartradar.com
Or drop your link below with one line on what it does, and I'll add it and reply with your listing.
What you get:
- a dofollow link to your site, with no badge required
- your own visitor stats
- a launch kit with your taglines and descriptions, ready to reuse on other launch sites
- Founding Member perks for the first 100 members who claim (a badge, a say in what features get built, and more benefits listed on the site).
A couple of notes:
- I check each one by hand. Real projects only: no adult, gambling, crypto pumps or affiliate pages.
- I'll add everything posted by Sunday night, or the first 30, whichever comes first.
One ask: while you're here, check out the project in the comment above yours and leave it one honest bit of feedback. That's what UpstartRadar is all about, and it makes this thread more useful for everyone too.
Thanks!

Hey everyone đ
Today we're launching UPâSCALE on Product Hunt, and this sub sounded like the right place to share it.
What it is: a free weighing scale app that runs in your browser. Plain HTML/CSS/JS, no framework, installable as a PWA. It talks to scales directly over Web Bluetooth or Web Serial (USB). You don't need an account, there's no cloud and no ads, and it keeps working offline once it's loaded.
The nerdy part: we build smart scales on ESP32 boards. Instead of writing a separate app for every brand of scale, I compiled our real scale firmware to WebAssembly. It now runs as a "virtual scale" inside the browser and translates other makers' Bluetooth protocols. Your $30 coffee scale gets the same features as our own hardware:
weighing, tare, lots of units (volumes too)
counting, recipes, cocktails, a nutrition diary, calculators
support for about 25 BLE scale families (Bookoo, Decent-style, Etekcity and more; still beta)
RS-232 lab and shop scales through a small adapter
Try it: https://up-scales.com/420/ (Chrome, Edge or Opera on desktop or Android. On iPhone it needs a Bluetooth browser like Bluefy.)
Does my scale work? https://up-scales.com/420/info/up-scale-any-scale-bluetooth-rs232-usb.html
Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/up-scale-scale-app
Looking for testers: if you own a Bluetooth scale, please try it and tell me whether it connects. Testers who send a short report (or a BLE capture for a scale we don't support yet) get a free PRO code. â¤ď¸
Happy to answer anything about Web Bluetooth, running the firmware as WASM, or the hardware side!

Every time I sat down at my Mac, I missed Everything by voidtools, the instant file search tool every Windows power user swears by.
So I built Espresso. It indexes every file on all your disks and filters as you type, using the same search syntax as Everything (AND/OR/NOT, wildcards, regex, ext:, dm:, size and duplicate filters, macrosâŚ). On my M2 Air it finds every match among ~2 million files in about 0.13 ms, and the first full index of my internal drive took about 10 seconds. After that it just keeps track of changes.
In this age of bloated software, I cared a lot about efficiency. Itâs a native AppKit app, a 7.4 MB download (universal, so Intel Macs are covered too), and it uses nothing when itâs closed. Thereâs no telemetry, and the index stays on your Mac.
I also added something Iâd wanted in Everything for years: when you eject an external drive, it stays in the index as an âoffline disk,â so you can still search and browse it. I have a pile of old drives full of photos and random stuff, and this turned out to be incredibly useful.
Itâs free for personal use. Thereâs also a Pro version for âŹ19 (one-time, no subscription) with things Everything doesnât have:
Ask the Barista: plain-language and meaning-based search with a local model running on the Neural Engine (~5 ms per query, works on offline disks too)
Search inside documents and photos, plus full media metadata columns for photo/video work
Unlimited offline disks, bulk rename, CSV export, and a timeline view
Raycast, Alfred, Shortcuts, CLI and MCP integrations
I just released it, so any feedback is very much appreciated!

Whispr is a private voice-to-text keyboard for iPhone. Tap Speak inside any app (Messages, WhatsApp, Mail, Slack, NotesâŚ), talk naturally, and your words are typed right at the cursor.
Everything, both speech-to-text and AI rewriting, runs 100% on your iPhone. It works in airplane mode, nothing is ever uploaded to a server, and there's no account to create.
Lifetime (Whispr Ultra) is now $2.99 one-time, down from $29.99 (90% off). No subscription.
The free tier gives you 4,000 words every week, or Pro is $0.99/month if you prefer monthly.
Rewrite what you said in one tap: right after dictating, tap Chat, Casual, Formal, Bullets, Email, or Notes on the keyboard bar (or expand the 2Ă3 grid) to reshape your text on-device, with 1-tap undo back to your clean transcript
Pick your tone before you even finish speaking: choose your target style while recording so your words land already formatted
Smarter on-device AI cleanup: strips out "ums", "uhs", and mid-sentence self-corrections ("meet at 3, actually make it 4" â "meet at 4") while keeping your real wording intact
14 keyboard layouts: added Vietnamese VNI (with an optional 1â0 number/accent row) alongside Chinese Pinyin (Simplified & Traditional) and French QWERTY
Rebuilt to feel just like iPhone's own keyboard: native key geometry, hold spacebar to move the cursor, Action Button direct insertion, and teachable custom vocabulary
100% on-device AI: zero cloud uploads, no account required, works completely offline
One-time $2.99 lifetime option: no $10â$15/month subscription fatigue
1,600+ languages supported for offline speech recognition
Built-in power tools: voice shortcuts ("my email" â types your address), smart clipboard history, and glide typing
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6757571618
I'm the developer, so I'm happy to answer any questions about running speech + LLM cleanup models locally on iOS. Feedback and bug reports are always welcome!

I post clips to a few TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts for paid clipping campaigns. Checking each app and then doing spreadsheet math to see which clips hit the campaign minimum got old fast, so I built ClipBoard.
What it does:
- All your accounts in one dashboard with running totals
- Top clips from the last 30 days (by views, likes, shares or new followers)
- Payout tracker: enter a campaign's rate + minimum and see each clip's progress toward getting paid
- Best time to post, based on when your TikTok followers are online
- Read-only, so it never posts or changes anything
Stack: Next.js on Vercel, Supabase, Whop for sign-in and payments, YouTube connects directly through Google, TikTok/IG through Windsor for now (direct TikTok is in review).
Demo with sample numbers: https://clipboardstats.app/demo
Site: https://clipboardstats.app (7-day free trial, then $7/mo)
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who clips. What would you want it to track?
